As angry as I was/am about our team getting embarrassed two games in a row by a good (but not great) team, once in front of a stacked house, if the bombers lose to the Argos, I will be livid. I really see that happening. This is the worst team we have had in three years with no relief in sight and will be facing the QB who beat us in the Cup game.

I hear your pain, but it seems to me that where the team has devolved to is dire enough that there is little to no hope of hosting the Grey Cup. Instead, barring an act of God, the best the Bombers can do is make the playoffs, even if O'Shea and maybe even Walters are canned. There is no point in trying to assess new player talent if they never get a chance to prove themselves in games.

I had reconstructive surgery on my knee a few years ago, and although it wasn't probably as dire as Streveler's it took me a year to fully trust it and even after then I still had moments. I would not give up on Streveler just yet until he has had a few games to settle it and act without the nagging "what ifs" interfering.

Agreed. Like AHAB, he will go down with his creation. I can foresee him threatening to quit if forced to cut or sit players he is emotionally committed to. If so, who does Walters get to replace him on short notice?
