Our air fryer is great for reheating pizza- we preheat the oven and toss the slices in, and they come out crisp and tasting like fresh.

Others have better pizza and better wings. BP does have a good atmosphere, though.

Weighing his salary compared to his value, he may not be the answer but someone like him is probably the Bombers' biggest need for 2023. -

The Riders could get permission from the Bombers to talk to Couture to see if he is willing to sign an extension with them. Walters should be willing to talk to any CFL team under those conditions. -
Yes, apparently it does.

Alec Baldwin To Be Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter In Fatal 'Rust' Shooting Actor Alec Baldwin will be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the 2021 fatal shooting that took place on the set of the movie “Rust,” the Santa Fe district attorney announced on Thursday. The film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was in charge of the guns on the New Mexico set, will be also charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter. The film’s assistant director, David Halls, has agreed to plead guilty to a charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon. His plea agreement includes a suspended sentence and six months of probation. Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and special prosecutor Andrea Reeb announced the charges, which they said are expected to be filed by the end of the month, in a written statement after spending more than two months considering a final investigative report by the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.

George Santos was reportedly a Brazilian drag queen named 'Kitara Ravache' Journalist Marisa Kabas, an opinion columnist for MSNBC, has the scoop: “Eula Rochard, a Brazilian drag queen who was friends with George Santos when he lived near Rio,” she writes, referring to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, “said everyone knew him as Anthony (*never* George), or by his drag name, Kitara, and confirms this photo is from a 2008 drag show at Icaraí Beach.”

The anti-vaxxers were tolerated reasonably well until they became militant and verbally and physically attacking those who chose to be vaccinated. Many of these same covidiots made it very clear that they didn't give a damn about the welfare of the immuno-compromised or anyone else for that matter. These attacks on science-based measures in the name of "God" and/or "liberty" caused the hostility, not vice-versa. -
Agreed, and once that universal healthcare is gone into American corporate pockets, it will never come back, thanks to NAFTA.

New Mexico law enforcement has confirmed that the man behind the shooting of homes of Democratic officials was motivated by Trump’s election lies. The Washington Post reported: In an interview, Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina said he has no doubt that Peña was motivated by Trump’s false claims of election fraud following the former president’s 2020 defeat. Medina said Peña regularly expressed extreme views on social media and boasted of attending Trump’s Stop the Steal rally in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021. “The individual that we’re charging believed in that conspiracy,” Medina said. “He did believe that his election was unfair and he did escalate and resort to violence as a means to find justice.”

George Santos accused of swindling disabled veteran and letting his dog die: report A disabled veteran on Tuesday accused Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., of taking $3,000 from his dying dog's GoFundMe fundraising campaign. Navy veteran Richard Osthoff was living in a tent in an abandoned chicken coop in New Jersey when his service dog Sapphire developed a stomach tumor that would cost $3,000 to remove, he told Patch. "I know a guy who runs a pet charity who can help you," Osthoff recalled a veterinary technician telling him. The tech connected him to Anthony Devolder, one of the aliases Santos used for years, and told him he ran a charity called Friends of Pets United. There is no evidence that the charity ever existed, though Santos claimed that he saved thousands of animals through the group. He has also been caught fabricating much of his resume, educational history and other claims made during his campaign. Osthoff and another veteran, retired police Sgt. Michael Boll, who tried to intervene to help Osthoff in 2016, told Patch that Santos closed the GoFundMe he set up for Sapphire after it raised $3,000. Then he disappeared. "He stopped answering my texts and calls," Osthoff told the outlet. Sapphire died Jan. 15, 2017, and Osthoff said he had to panhandle to raise money for her euthanasia and cremation. "It was one of the most degrading things I ever had to do," he recalled. https://www.salon.com/2023/01/18/george-santos-accused-of-swindling-disabled-veteran-and-letting-his-dog-die-report/

And so the revenge tour begins...

Indulge themselves in an orgy of revenge and backstabbing. Wisconsin Republicans strike down state ban on LGBTQ+ conversion therapy Republicans in the Wisconsin State Legislature earlier this month blocked a ban on conversion therapy, a pseudoscientific method of "curing" non-heteronormative sexual orientations and gender preferences, that is illegal in nearly half the country. On Thursday, January 12th, all six GOP lawmakers on the Joint Committee for Review and Administrative Rules banded together to strike down the Badger State's standing prohibition, "effectively making the practice legal," the Heartland Signal reported on Monday. It was the second time that conservative legislators relegalized the dehumanizing therapeutic technique that medical experts have repeatedly warned is "torture" and a violation of human rights.

Domestic Terrorist Supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene Named To Homeland Security Committee Via CNN: Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Paul Gosar of Arizona have been given committee assignments for the new Congress after being booted from their committees by Democrats and some Republicans for their incendiary remarks, sources told CNN. The House GOP Steering Committee on Tuesday agreed to place Greene on the House Homeland Security Committee, which has jurisdiction over the border and will likely play a role in potentially impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Kevin McCarthy apparently promised Greene a seat on the the Homeland Security Committee, which could be dangerous for national security given that Greene has been one of the vocal members of the House in support of the domestic terrorists who attacked the Capitol on 1/6. Rep. Greene is also desperate to impeach Biden administration officials and have a perch where she can attack the President and claim that he has jeopardized national security. Trump is giving serious consideration to choosing Greene to be his running mate if he wins the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, so it makes that she would want a seat on a committee where she can both whitewash Trump’s record and attack President Biden. Marjorie Taylor Greene who is thought of in many circles as a threat to national security will be conducting oversight over those who keep America safe.

Vegas Golden Knights Goalie Robin Lehner Files For Bankruptcy, Cites $50 Million Debt LAS VEGAS (AP) — Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner and his wife have filed for bankruptcy in Nevada, citing up to $50 million in debts to dozens of creditors. The Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing offers a glimpse into the couple’s financial problems, including money owed to no fewer than 50 people and companies, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. They filed for bankruptcy Dec. 30, months after a Wisconsin company sued Lehner for $4 million, claiming the NHL player and his father failed to make any payments last year on a business loan. Both Lehner and his father, Michael, are listed as principal members in a Nevada business license filing for Solarcode, a limited liability corporation doing business in multiple states, including Nevada and Arizona.

That policy would have been very difficult to enforce in rural areas, and led to thousands of baby girls being drowned.

Tom Brady Called Out For 'Blatantly Dirty Play' In Playoff Loss To CowboysThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was mocked for his questionable move. Tom Brady took some hits online for what appeared to be a “dirty move” during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 31-14 playoff defeat to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday. The quarterback slid into Cowboys safety Malik Hooker from behind in a tripping maneuver considered a no-no by the NFL. Hooker was returning an apparent fumble and Brady seemed to be doing his best to take him down. The irresponsible tackle attempt may have been a result of frustration because the Buccaneers were already losing 24-0 at that point, USA Today pointed out. The outlet called it a “blatantly dirty play.” The Buccaneers were penalized for unnecessary roughness on the play, but that call was on center Ryan Jensen, the Sporting News reported. The fumble ruling was overturned as well. The league has gone after Brady before for similar antics. He was fined $10,000 for dangerously sliding into the Baltimore Ravens’ Ed Reed during the AFC Championship game in 2013. He also drew attention for sliding at Giants safety Xavier McKinney in 2021.

If the higher taxes mean lower suicide rates, less societal violence, better outcomes for critical illnesses, high education rates and increased contentment for Canadians, I'm all for it. The Americans and Canadian right-wingers will be apoplectic, but so be it.

I wonder if the fall in population is due more to the tens of thousands who have died from the pandemic and the long-term effects thereof. When people are endlessly sick, they don't want to make babies.

And may or may not be able to play the game at the level he did before. His injury was pretty severe. -
This healthcare crisis is both caused by and benefits the Cons. Having systematically starved the system for decades whenever in power, s crisis can now be reacted to by farming out a lot of of procedures at exorbitant charges. They can now wring their hands and point to the expenses and say that public healthcare was what they have said all along- that its too inefficient and costly. Privatization is obviously (in their august opinion) the only remedy.

Trump has convinced his feeble-minded followers that the government is rightfully and permanently theirs, regardless of the votes and, because of that, any Democrat victory is illegal and reserved to be opposed, violently if necessary. The end justifies the means, and if they are caught they were only following orders.
