Anyone get the sense Bailey absolutely hated playing for the Argos? I never saw any moments of him celebrating a play with his teammates… it was like, play’s over, back to the huddle or sideline. Seriously he looked all business, zero joy.

Eli comes in a lot on heavy sets. Others have noted even in those plays he’s very assertive calling out what he sees. Any potential growing pains that come with switching to Eli at center are far outweighed by his current level, never mind his ceiling.

Buck sending Grant up the gut on a run play to get squashed was dumb. Not muzzling Boudreau and his awful teams schemes was dumb. Letting Grant go knowing Miller was going to set special teams right…. extra dumb.

Especially Schoen last year. 2022 league receiving and td rec leader with a target on his back and ZC absolutely hung some up there and opened up Schoen to some shots.

There are some players who absolutely hate to lose, as if it hurts them physically. Brady Oliveira seems like that type. Other guys are joking with the opposition between plays but BO just wants to line up, get going and dish it out. Need more guys who can walk that walk and not just give the same old talk. Finger pointing between teammates is never good but you can see the frustration is boiling up good now.

Refusal to acknowledge the liabilities that the usual suspects have become, is straight up denial or worse, hoping they have something left and might improve. 2-9 definitely seems like a probability. Drives me crazy knowing there are still a lot of high-end/elite pieces but they’re held back or compromised while trying to cover for others. Some really promising young talent is rotating in and out while the same vets blow play after play. I’m curious at what point does the culture of this locker room turn in on itself. Others have mentioned no accountability and I can only imagine how bad it could get in the meetings when the players and coaches go over film. Gotta say the player quotes from Tait are ringing suuuper hollow right now. Spent vets repeating “just not good enough” is comical. No sh!t guys your coach sending you out there is absolutely not good enough!

Kramdi isn’t going anywhere barring injury. Same with BA… think Younger has to have the hard talk with O’shea for any chance of a change. It’s wild to think Holm for BA is full circle of BA in for Jeff Hecht circa 2019.

I dunno… anytime Biggie gets sent into the LOS he’s manhandled by opposing OL and usually ends up on the turf as the play goes by. Love Bighill, was a key piece building towards the championships and it sucks watching the decline. He’s had a ton of singularly spectacular plays over his time with the Bombers but his relentless play in the ‘21 Grey Cup especially stands out to me. Team was behind the 8-ball and he just never stopped… all time Bighill.
