Some have mentioned SMS savings in moving on from Bailey. Would we really want the team to do that? Is he really hurting the salary structure as it is? Sure a rookie is cheaper but Bailey has proven to be clutch at critical moments. Would rather see rejuvenating the foot soldier ranks, like Augustine, Kramdi, Briggs level guys.

Twice that exact kind of miscue has happened with Kramdi in that spot. Both times he heads straight up the field with virtually zero contact with the rusher coming straight through the spot he’s vacating.

Other teams do it to the Bombers all the time, though it’s certainly magnified when it’s a qb getting hit. At Montreal Woli makes the td reception, gets shoved hard from behind and skitters across the stupid track and into AV equipment boxes. Sask, Ott and Edm all have defenders that love hammering guys after a TD. Should be called more since the rule is a TD and play is done once the ball in possession breaks the plane of the goal line.
