Yup the Nichols turn around of 2016. The Bombers rolled into McMahon on a 7 game heater and everything went wrong until late in the 3rd quarter. Bo Levi started off his infamous quote almost sympathetically as he shrugged, “They’re a team that’s trying to find out who they are..” before smirking into the camera, “We’re going to continue showing them that”. Kalil Bass fumble recovery sparked a furious comeback. Took the lead but the 2016 soft-as-butter defense allowed a walk-off Paredes field goal to preserve Calgary’s superiority. That game definitely cemented my dislike of Bo and D Dickenson.

All the outside noise of how great the Stamps are off the bye… Bombers are tired and banged up (ok true)… but very few of the “experts” remember how this team actually works, no matter the opponent, weather, schedule blah blah. Ready to kick back with a cold one and watch our guys go punch Calgary in the mouth.

Love seeing Jefferson line up in the middle. It really seems to throw opposing o-linemen for a loop. The few times I spotted him there he wreaked havoc on whatever play the O had planned - very effective against BC.

Perhaps a bit of not comfortable with the positions they’re being asked to play? Gray is a long body type and is a legit future starting RT. Having him at LG as a road grader doesn’t play into his strength, no? Lining up Dobson as the TE on heavy sets also failing miserably. Guy is a guard through and through and would look instantly better on the inside.

Some guys are just better as coordinators. To be fair he didn’t build the Stamps roster but he also helped them thrive, as opposed to hold them back. In BC it wasn’t Claybrooks who hamstrung the team with a $800’000 qb salary.
