Would love to have Willie back...but Jeffcoat I think would be the bigger loss..better all around every down player...there were games where we won..and Willie didnt do anything or even tally a stat..so we can function fine without him The ace in hole is Mccallister..sure small sample size but in preseason was a beast..and came off couch and played ala willie in the edm game..give him camp and full season and he will be our rookie of year candidate...has better measurables than Willie...had more hype outta college..and is physically the exact same...we be aight...plus he will be about 200k cheaper..so him Roh and Jeffcoat can be a nice combo with splashes of the Panzer mixed in..I bet he really has a impressive yr this year..guy is strong as an ox and lineman had a tough time containing him..just imagine another season of seasoning him

Though we could also re-up Adams and grab Rhymes too and let him..Bailey and Lawler battle it out for the 2 other import spots. I can honestly see Sask rolling into 2020 without Evans, Roosevalt, Arceneaux and Watson from their starting group from last year...thats a lot of turn over for a team and a recipe for disaster, especially one with a more or less unproven QB...cause last year isn't proof of anything

Kind of weird as it was said to pursue other opportunities..now is that in CFL and how would/could he have had any talks with anyone as he was a signed player...would that not be tampering??..or did he just want out of that **** show and see what he can land elsewhere..as certainly he will be signed somewhere...or is it not even football related other opportunities?

ARGO are into the QB position for more scratch than we will be..217K in hard money for MBT, and no way Matt has signed for less than what will amount to at least 400-450k in money by end of season...however the spread it out. A smart guess would probably have them at 650k minimum for their QB tandom this year...Zack has a chance to make what...490? if he has an injury free season and all goes well, and McGuire would be at 100k...tops...if that seeing as he was the 3rd stringer last year on an entry level deal so we would be just under 600k for both guys, and when you look around the league thats pretty good

I dunno...he has the skill if he's healthy...never played more than 13 games in a year ( 11, 13, 12, 13) but yardage total were ( 885, 743, 747, 738) and 22 TD's in 49 games played...whats not to like if he stays healthy??...big if but just sayin...guy can ball

WELL he did have 88 tackles in 15 games last yr..with 4 sacks and a FF...hardly a speed bump...he still has game..If Boozy Hughes can get a 200k extension at 36 coming off elboy/arm surgery for this yr..Soli will get 180-190 easy

funny too with Derek Taylor pulling his best Rod Penison...saying he's not surprised Sask hasn't contacted Willie because they have to be very comfortable with Hghes and Leonard...yeah a 36 year old end who coming off surgery and at around 200k a year and Leonard...a 28 yr old guy who been on 3 teams in 5 years and has had 25 sacks at a whopping 5 a year clip...yup....I'd be super stoked too

pretty certain that if some teams makes a crazy 280-300k offer that Willie will talk with Walters...like last time to get something they both think is fair, and gives him the best chance to win, and where he feels most comfortable....the exact same conditions he had last year...everyone and their dog knows the comfort level is apparent...we won...and who doesn't wanna repeat...especially with majority of his team back, and Biggie money, or a shade above is easily doable...I think we are in the drivers seat on this one to be honest If T.O comes at him in 280..290....i doubt it gets to 300 for a defensive guy, then I am confident he would sign here at 265K as that is more than fair..would make him the highest paid defensive guy, and also has a good chance to grab another 20-30k in playoff cash...plus he will be in a football crazy environment where he will be a celebrity as opposed to T.O where he would toil in anonymity, or if recognized more than likely asked what Raptor he is....lol
