  1. lol....I'll decide
  2. Switching my original pick of Wheatfall...to Schoen...have a hunch he gonna go off today
  3. My keys...O-line needs to continue to work in the fluid blok schemes...move the pocket....keep with the blocking switches they been doin Off. plan to focus on possession and quick passing game...even some tempo....Mix in Strev...use of both backs Defense needs to use the more athletic front....mix up coverages and use different responsibilities for back 8 within the same look....Will confuse Ford and cause multiple turnovers Foot to throat all game...even if up by 3 scores by half...end game up by 6....
  4. Oshea also thinks Ayers is a DE....I wouldnt put too much into what he thinks to be honest Smith would excell at Wil or SAM if allowed to be groomed and developed there.....that being getting live game reps and worked into rotation.... Makonzo was a rising talent at SAM before he got hurt in Edm...If and when healthy he'd be a huge addition as he would be a better SAM than Kramdi...as he already was in hbis time in Edm, or used in Griffin's role and allow Griffin to be on field 95% of snaps Part of our issues with depth and nobody in the hopper...the reluctance to work guys in and develop
  5. He definitely should be on one...and if things not clicking Strev should be coming in for valuable reps Even when clicking he should be getting extended reps after short yardage as well as some specific packages Really the pay for all 3 is the same regardless of order on depth...if he not getting it done...but Strev is...you go with the guy who's dealing...not doing so is a coaching failure... It was dumb to even do it in first place if the canadian was as good anyway..
  6. yup....greasy still counts tho in the injury game....he definitely got the concuss there and you could see it too by his body reaction after it slammed to the turf...the fact that these wishy washy CFL spotters who have yanked guys for far less didnt have him evaluated right then and there is laughable too....as it was clear as day he got rung....and was feeling it
  7. You just described what Person can do and is about...and he can also in a 3 man front play a quasi "4th" outside linebacker role as well....If there is one import we have that would benefit our roster the most on defense it's that guy right there Ayers is a linebacker...and thats all he has done since college....to expect him, or try and get him to be an effective end in the pro game....a foreign pro game to him as well is plain stupid and just a reflection of how we have a less than optimal roster construct
  8. True...when you look at it that way yes.....but...I think we dreaming haha
  9. Definately...That would be the smart course of action
  10. Right now i would say Jaylen Smith looks the best option to take reps...and we should be working him and Shay in regardless every game...that's how guys develop...they don't in practice....not how practices are run these days Both those guys already offer more to rotation than Hallett does and how many times last yr did we see him in rotation getting roasted over and over and we just kept on running him out there...both those guys should be getting looks all over in the LB group
  11. I dont think Schoen has that burst/seperation ability after the catch yey and Demski is always banged up so swapping out Sterns for a guy like Mitchel who has big play abilitywould be wise to open things up a bit
  12. Think Mace is a but dense...Prety sure it happened on that play where he got drilled and cranked his punchable head hard on the ground as it snapped back from the impact...and they let him continue to play...me and my buddy saw that right away he should have been pulled from that last game...but wasnt..the Rider training staff is pretty inept for most part anyway so not shocking I already picked against them anyway...so I good! lol
  13. i dunno....If you dont worry about stuff in-season and address it....there wont be no grey cup, and if we luck out and do get to it....expect more the same cause in Osh's eye's...it was all a success and due to it...it's happened 3 yrs running...and this yr we have a lot the same characyers....older now...and a coach showing the exact same mindset and yes I will say it...fatal flaws I'd not say our receivers are fine either...zero depth behind any starter....and a 5th receiver who really adds zero to our offence....if i'd rank ours against the rest of league...right now we in bottom 3 he did...but not sure ZC will...or has the ability to...or desire...but then again...guess we will see....I wouldnt be surprised by the end of yr due to play...possible injuries that Strev is leading us into playoffs
  14. here's a scary thought/observation...I have seen Kolo practicing it...eeeeeeee
  15. The season and how you go about it..roster..etc...sets you up tho for success in it tho...we effed it up during the yr 3 yrs running...so it's preventative maintenance so to speak
  16. he's such an odd one...super nice guy...very smart...well spoken...but just an assbag on the field
  17. i second that....and puts guys in spots, and or utilzes their best assets to make life easier for ZC....Not the Buck way that we saw the last 2 seasons
  18. and hurt...age kills football players....well...keeps em off field more than on...Benson was never an injury issue...not sure what/how he got hurt but would a guy in his prime...or 12 yrs younger or so have gotten hurt??
  19. so he claims...but when rubber meets the road and guys are hurt/underperforming all those other "they all starter guys..thats why6 they here" still sit.....as they play the weak and wounded....bullshit artist extroidinaire...early season games...especially a home one against a weaker sister...short week...guys a bit banged up is the perfect time to get guys like Mitchell....Person...Bailey..Cobb in for reps/valuable playtime experience and if anything else...see what they can do and if they make us better...but alas no...ride guys to a worn out nub...and not groom/develop depth...I can see 2025 going the same way 2022-2024 went...with a possibility this yr it all comes to roost and we dont even make the big dance in our own back yard...worn out guys...injured guys still playing...zero depth or lack of faith in the "they all starter guys"....until Osh proves otherwise to us there no reason not to think this exact same scenario now running 4 yrs in a row plays out again dont learn from history you tend to repeat it 4 yrs running...Maybe thats why Osh and Walters aren't re-upped yet/again..Maybe Miller wants to see results...and I can see him doing that too... and end if one or both our old ends get knicked....DT too if Lawson or Adams goes down which also is a piss poor thing going on...step in coach(s) and get in his ear...or grill...It's not like other teams don't see that and take things away and we sputter or throw picks...for all this great coaching people claim we have...and we surely do...they sure suck at putting things together at times as it should be....we tend to stunt guys at times....and I dont mean running Thomas in a stunt hahaha....that was soooooembarrasing
  20. Tackles not a good metric unless you look at context of them Heart and grit are nice...but it's about talent and ability too...and that's eroded a lot and for an aged LB coming back form ACL...it gonna affect him still regardless how healed he seems....speaking from experience coming back from 2 reconstruction Don't get me wrong...loved Biggie a f what he did...key word "did" We should have moved on from him..and a few others last yr already
  21. Or when it counts of late 0-3
  22. not shocked...it's Osh's way of business...Just because we won he feels it's all good...when it's not and won't change anything even tho not ideal...and some spots are just an utter waste....and late in year when it counts again.....we will follow the same script...and flop He just doesn't grasp the idea of always trying to get better....and loyalty and Mr.Nice guy/buddy doesn't equate to Cups
  23. yeah he is getting things talked about and people engaged to a certain degree about what he's going on about...probably in the grand scheme of things good as it's being noticed....and defended/discussed
  24. I bet we see Demski...that being said they should flip Sterns for Mitchel tho to give more a threat and a mid to deeper route guy to open more space for Demski and Schoen...even for big Kev to work underneath and give that nice target for conversions Keeping the oline as is and utilizing Cooley more too...and some packages with Strev to keep Edm dline honest and out of getting into a rhythm
