I'd say Schmeck is more serviceable....and that takes a lot for me to pump his tires until he proves me 100 percent otherwise. Thomas is not the future here...nor the now...and trotting him out there really is a waste of a spot, for either develping a new guy somewhere...or allowing a guy already somewhat established to really hone his game...His "vet" leadership isnt required...we have tons of vets....he's here purley on the Osh bonerisms and nothign more...he offers us nothig other than on the PR or parked on the IR for security if Schmeck...Samson and soon I think Bennett all go down with seson enders

I'm not a fan of the FIFO thing as people use it too much as the deciding factor in why a guy played...didnt...gets cut etc...etc.....As long as a guy has noi serious character flaws and issues and is doing selfish things to hurt the team then that should be it. If yhour good enough and have the talent....nuffsaid This mantra of maybe he didnt fit in in some regard that we as fans don't see....thats why....is load of crap....some guys who were cut....not utilized were soley due to coaching bias and the same ol same ol....believe it if you want...or don't....No skin off my hiney but untill you have actually been in a room as a player...coach...or otherwise....and seen all the dynamics its just running on hyberbole and going with the narrative. Been on and een many teams where at times half the team doesnt know one another from dirt, other than name and number....and are highly succesfull and have the tight room....we have a great culture and room...and been succesful for sure....but that isnt the whole reason...nor should be the deciding factor in talent

Key thing/word....Non Import depth.....On defence save for Ford none of our non import depth should be taking more than 40% snaps in a game at their position, now that Lawson is out long term....which is a shame.

That being said...hate to lose a game early in season...when we have a team wih most continuity in the the league...due to rust....timing....not in actual live game shape....and then say lose out 1st place and a WF at home by one game or lose a tie breaker cause of it Last pre-season game...at home....no limitations on how many guys can realistically travel to....no reason the defacto starters could get even 1 series....

Why make 2 moves tho to cover 1 spot...Leave Wilson as is...Cole at Sam and plug Gauthier in Biggies spot for certain down and distance plays and freely rotate in one of Gemmel or Ayers for valuable reps and experience and see what they have and if they are heir apparent

yes...u just need to declare the minimum 7 per game and where they are allotted on each side of the ball....and thats your minimum..it's just that at times we tend to over use some Canadians just because they are Canaduian and Osh is all about that...and it's needless, and doesnt make us better, especially when we dont take advantage of it and rotate guys freely....and some instances that rostered Canadian...well shouldnt even be on the roster

Odd use of the PR right now....which kinda isnt a shock, but it's early That taylor depth chart...is that hgis assumption.....cause if it's actually what he was told then not as happy with how I originally saw things. Smith will be around till healthy, thinking Moses too for part of the yr to see how he comes along, but happy with Gemmel and Ayers...if you look way back to posts before TCI diud say I liked At=yers and he could be the darkhorse to be rostered. Thik we kept the right recievers, tho the pecking order/PR spots may change...I see what they might like in Mitchell...the twitchyshit he has and his playing well above his weight class, but still think Johnson is the most roster ready guy...he's the most polished and has that look of a typical CFL reciever Like the DL deph and guys....and leads me to think that we go primarily import up front with I hope Schmeckleas the rotational Canadian...Thomas serves no purpose or upside/future so end that sad experiment now....Also Mason BenneTTI am 100 percent will be here in the mix and basically was a numbers/cash/ratio thing there....and if he lands here then we are set up well with who we kept. BA also I 100 percent will be starting day 1 from some discussions I have had, and again I am 100 percent good with that...especially if he has tossed away the brace...if he hasn't time for transition during the season McGhee on PR is the right decision....shockingly....and the guys they kept I think will be possibly an ongoing audition till we get it right, but with Nichols..Holm..Ford....we solid, so we can groom a guy on the fly I'm very interested tho with the DI's how they work it, and if the 5th reciever is gonna pull return duties and we use that extra DI on defense.....which would give us a heck of a depth on that side of the ball...we have the ability to do it, and have 2019 style 7 man front just eating teams up...And I think thats what Younger wants....balls in Osheas court to do it

We saw what I guy like Adam's and what he did without being in game shape yet..and terrorized the stamps...can just imagine a fat..and out of game shape Thomas in the middle..doing nothing...jogging and trotting up to the end of the play after its over...no explosion...athleticism...pursuit...hungry aggression...just a sickening foreshadowing but I bet we see it Thursday

Yup...and based on Browns first few apearances....he looked like he had no business being on a professional field..and he seems to have somewhat developed nicely...tho his litttle frame and really inexperience anywhere but here I see a tough yr, and him being pummled alot....not sure he will be able to withstand it

People dogging on Wilson all of a sudden....showed rather well whe he played first game with more of a legit Oline...but last game's unit helped out no way really....Cant judge an annoint from one game much like you cant throw away after another

Yeah...I was seeing a very similar roster as well....Moses Definitely needs to.be kept around for.potential alone...he showed very well...made some CFL newbie miscues but that's expected...plus that has been first game action in like 3 yrs...to send him packing would be stupid...how u ever gonna develop the next guy if never given a true chance...pedigree and raw ability alone should give him at minimum a yr on the PR and some spot roster use..and then another camp in 2025...Minimum...same can be said for several others we brought in

there is definately the opportunity this yr to make a few surprise cuts, or at the least turn a few guys into role/rotational/situationl players, and way to keepthe 5 main guys who popped off the page in practices and both games...and against the other teams projected starters....I just don't think Osh has the plums to do it tho....but maybe we will be pleasantly surprised
