Wheatfall has potential...but so did a lot of other guys...and we know how ZC likes to favor and zero in on 2 guys all the time Schoen is still a big question mark too..what's he gonna be like...acl returnees ...especially in skilled positions at times have a mental hurdle more than a physical one and at wr that spit second hesitation is huge...he already takes a serious pounding more than any other receiver I have seen...so continually being pummeled as ZC will prob feed him more than he should can be a recipe for disaster I see no reason why we can't or wouldn't fit Lawler in at 225-235...slap a bonus in there even to motivate him even tho he doesn't need it

Thing is we need a vet/known commodity in addition to what we have currently to fill out our receiving Corp Schoen shouldn't and can't be assumed to be 110% immediately...and who's to say he doesn't have a Lil set back...We have Mitchell...Demski as what you can consider proven...after that a 2nd yr Clercius and ??? If one of or any of the vets gets injured...that's a shallow and depleted Corp Hollins want no part of...Rhymes is a mmm...dunno but he won't come cheaper than Mitchell..after that it's a collection of worse than what we had last yr...Lawler you should expect to be a given...Sure we have Wheatfall but he still a work in progress too...and we know exactly what to expect from ZC with a group he not familiar or comfortable with...or saddled with rookies

Some people blinded by what Osh claims...he's by far a complete player to be paid what he is and he doesn't just "make plays" He's good in a couple facets..but he's horrible in coverage...he at times out in space looks lost and misses his play and he is not a good in space tackler...he's good crashing down and in the scrum but in space was prob our worst db And that salary and the others tied into the secondary are killing us...his 140 would be better served with Ford and SAM is easily replaced for under 100k

Not sure why people wondering what Vaughters has left in tank...he'ss only 31 and has limited wear and tear from a few yrs testing the NFL....he gives us off the edge what we have lacked since JJ left and thats power to collpase and good inside technique...can see this really complimenting WJ Garbutt has a well rounded skill set but has to elevate now too...can he...will he get the chance....but he was essentially a rookie last yr learning as he went ans playing a lot that SchmeckThomas combo did none our other dline guys any favours Persons tho is the guy I really keen on....He was a legit NFL prospect for a pass rush specialist, but they wanted him bigger and he balked at that....he's perfect for the CFL tho Linebacker is what I curious about...The recent Jones signing is a biggie....and preferably our jones is the 4th guy...rotates in at various ways and isnt anointed the defactoMLB...as we know we like to do that around here regardless if they are worthy of it...He has some holes in his game and gets exposed for it a lot if he is 90% snap guy. If Kyrie is actually healthy,,,and stays healthy I have no issues with him as a transitional guy this yr while we groom his replacement...Healthy Wilson is top of league in his position Same with Kramdi...I know a lot of you here think he's the bee's knees but he is gawd awful in coverage and open fiield tackling...he's a good situational guy and in and around the box when we slide him up...but at 140k per he should be a divison and league all-star..and he's not...and he wont Griffin or Parker there would be ideal and use Kramdi as super sub like we did with Griffin....Make it a oint to have Kelly take over safety....and find another via draft or free agency to also play there....thats your National spot and allow yur front 7 to be your best and most athletic...You can spell off with a Lawson on the line withh a solid rotation...and With Kramdi ala Griffin...

What would bode well for us...even not factoring in who may or may not sign in FA or re-up from our current FA's is that going into camp....Positions are all up for grabs, and the best players, and ones who also show nice upside on top of it, get the spots....and That goes for all positions...you have some key vets that obviously stay..WJ...Lawson...Nichols...Holm...Griffen...Bonds...Ayers...Wilson...Adams...Woods...Bryant..Neuf..Wallace...Eli..BO...Demski...Mitchel....not Myron...Castilla...ZC...Clercius...Lawler and or Schoen if signed....MCI...QB Wilson...after that....take the cream of the crop....best of the best....sort out who and where you designate Nats and Imps when you have your 46 main guys.... When is last time we have done that?....not in this run we havnt...and we now on the backside of the success...and teetering

WE would have been sinking 550 k into 4 db's...thats insane and stupid...even without Ford we are sinking a heck of a lot when we shouldnt have to.....good luck to him elsewhere as he a baller, but we dont need a canadian corner to make ratio we've allowed our depth and where we allocate our money to erode and handcuff our roster...been going on for a few yrs now...and hate to harp on the reason but its the HC love for old aged vets and his reluctance to be like a guy like Bouno or Mathews...even Cal and move on before it cripples your roster and asset management...or ability to manage it fluidily not always who have we lost...but who we have missed out on also clinging to guys who's upside had passed them by...where oft injured or looking forward shoudnt have been in teams plans in 2 yrs or so... As ro the Schoen issue...who knows what he will be able to do when he healthy, him and Lawler offer 2 excellent skill sets....But Lawler offers that something other that not many do...Schoen included...and Schoen the last seson and his coule games in 2024 shown to have a bit of the droppsies...part of which is he is a bit leary of all the pounding he takes after catch...have never seen an elite receiver take the shots he does repeatedly...has to be a reason for it Lawler miseed with injury last yr...yr prior was that suspension...2019 he didnt get on roster until week 4...broke a collar bone in edm making an elite catch....**** happens....I like Schoen but he is more replaceable with good recruiting

U just don't get it Never said they need to win every game...and getting their means diddly...unless you are happy with failure...I don't know many people in life who are except nuttuggers here We lost 3 of the 5 plain and simple due to a coach who was the reason...big deal he got us there...if he can't finish the deal...the that's an issue...and we are losing more than we winning in cups...to comment on your teams of yonder comment I've been around the game a long time..still am....seen a lot...involved in a lot...talk to many still involved...I coach..recruit..train...and mentor players so yeah I have a bit more "in the know" than Joe fan... So in a nutshell what can this team do...tell it's HC to change some his ways and ideals...accept fault even tho his stubborn pride and ego won't allow it and adapt and evolve...or fall by the wayside...and if it can't happen...adios amigo...you like to blame the players for losses but the coach is awesome...5 straight appearances...if you were involved in high level football you would know the players Excell or fail 90 percent due to what they were coached to do and schemed for...u could have a team of all world players on field but if not prepped or coached properly...and then adjust to the individual game itself...u will lose...we rode guys in their prime and best at their position from 2019 till 2024...and when elite isn't elite no more...the success erodes...much like we allowed our depth to erode in a serious way clinging to the past...we choose to play injured guys...or past their usefulness guys...why...no depth...even tho we told otherwise...it's a matter of the coach doesn't believe it himself and trots out injured guys and less capable ones as we have no depth...or is he just a stubborn fool?
