yeah...he is an actual talent evaluator With high volume plays against you....you are gonna have guys with high volume stats... Sask has by far the most pass attempts against them....2nd most yards against....71% passes completed against....3rd most 30+ yards plays against...just shy of 400 completions against at 397...and until recently were a team that gave up more than they scored...or was basically even Those numbers right there tell you teams wanna throw at you...why?...because you are weak there we give up 59% completion percent....least yards given up...and only 297 completions against...so what defense would you think if you looked at record....passing numbers....points differential would you think had the MODP type DB's on it?

yeah...that was an interception from coverage and ability...unlike prob 4 of Milligans that were arrant throws to basically right in his chest while he was essentially covering someone else....which is another reason INT's aren't the whole story...Houston prob had 3 or 4 of those too last yr Last I can think of was when Brown had 14 and Hill had 12 in same season...1990 I think....which is just hard to wrap mind around

Walker may be a good signing for the Stamps...he is in his prime...has a lot of experience, and likely won't need a super long time to adapt to the game up here...he's no green horn...and if a stain like Kelly can do it...a high character guy, and one with his life in order surely can. I see it as a guy who just wants to play, and put down some yrs in one spot....I hope he does well....also think he will too...can never have enough quality QB's and a guy with a winning NFL record with a couple teams, and been down there on rosters for the length he has obviously has serious upside...time will tell

I dunno...we have had great success in just putting new guys there for quite a few yrs now, so I don't think that should be a reason not to replace a guy. Who knows as well who could be available if FA...going into our Grey Cup at home shot. I do agree tho...would love to see him at safety to see what he has there....especially if he not having to play that odd role we tried with BA before. I think his abilty to drift and close on a ball in the air would serve him way better there. We also still have Parker who has been hurt this yr with a who knows what injury, but he is still young....very athletic and was the better of the 2, and was one of the better tacklers on the squad....so be interesting to see if he gets a shot in 2025 as well The old dead weight tho.....put em out to pasture definately...we have really transformed the roster this yr, so next yr...2...3 guys will be easy

I compare him to...we can do better, plain and simple, as he has been the weak link all yr...apparently Darby was a weak link...we moved on so next up is Holm....his fancy feet and all...why stagnate and stand pat....you have to...need to be continually getting better....that goes for any position where a guy isn't the best of the best Settling for ok....adequate...or status quo won't get you Championships...we have seen that all too apparent 2 yrs running now

Yeah...he's not the best option...but we know he the Osh option...for varying reasons Gauthier in the traditional 3 LB set is a given...as we basically have nobody else..poor pr makeup there and doubt they will start Notree right outta the gate cause that's not how we do business...tho he prob wouldn't have a grasp on playbook anyway But if we have to replace 3 imports (BA..Griffin...Ayers) then one would assume Bridges for Griffen..Hallett likely for BA Still need 2 imports to fill out roster so Notree for Ayers mainly for ST..some defensive snaps..and then who? We have minimal options so the logical move would be Fox..to really shore up the defensive front to help with the missing pieces in the back 8 Many 3 and 4 combos..even some 5's with one as a Jack or dropping off with WJ/Woods/Fox/Adams/Haba/Garbutt...you would hardly need Thomas or Schmeck for rotation...really you could even only dress one of them and roster Karmoko or even Murphy in their spot for more over all depth on ST

We could always put Cole at safety...but I sure we will run Hallett there. If so then hopefully we add Fox for BA and have him..Adams...and Woods all rotating...with no need for excessive Jake and Schmeck I'd assume if Griffin isn't able to go it would be Bridges and I think Notree is a lock for Ayers I do hope tho we don't do something stupid and start and give majority of reps to Thomas..Gauthier..Hallett...when we already have Keamdi and Ford as locked in defacto "starters" We don't need to do that and why make your team weaker if you don't have to. No knock on Canadians but if we plan to start what could be 11...I gonna barf...let some your talent who likely have more a future here...plus upside get the reps.

I think if BC was still rolling....and a force...McCinnis has right dropped off...as his team has tanked...BO has gotten better and can be argued is the reason for the turn around, and it has infected others play...he should be a slam dunk for Canadian and MOP outta the West...if he's not...its a crime....tho I am sure he will rather enjoy hoisting the Cup again tho.....but still be a crime....In a league that likes to promote their Canadians...some at naseum...to over look one 2 yrs running is a shame and I would even say a blackmark on the league

I liked him....I didnt know he got released when I saw we picked him up...but I do know he makes plays I can see him slotting in this week as he plays teams...has experience and if Ayers is out...we meed him to get game reps in the defence system...I like this pick up...and may offer more down the stretch than Ayers soley based on he's seen it...and done it before

I wouldnt be so sure...we pissed all over 3 or 4 of the media's storylines this yr...so....payback.... He got robbed last yr...Stanley got robbed in 2021.....so wouldn't be shocked if he robbed again

generally if a DB is high in tackles....even knockdowns....can almost go as far as defensive plays....it indicates that they are, or their side of the field is being targeted. It's not like he is racing across the field breaking up the other HB/Corners battles...stats like have been said here are misleading, unless they are certain stats...like completion % against...Targets in red zone...TD's given up...etc....tackles are a poor sta...especially when not shown where it was....at l.o.s...5 yards past....2 yards behind...after 1st down gained.....converted 2nd and long....the list goes on...show me those stats and I will show you who are legit all-stars We track them at team, and scouting and recruitment level....Pretty sure the CFL "stats team" don't and I know our for most part brain dead "media" dont...or even think about that...they just look at 2 things...Int...tackles...
