Just look at the bad stench he had the Rider's in....and they still there for most part with how they play and the character they show....And how the Elks were going....Only difference is the Elks now have come full circle and re-wired their locker and culture with a guy at the helm who is looking to be legit...The Riders are still putting out some stink because as much as they wanna trumpet Mace was their guy...they again had to settle for a HC and I just don't see it yet in him being a guy to turn it around....or at the least any time soon

Bring the heat on MBT if he starts...right from the first snap...The Elks will not have game planned for it and when they try and adjust then roll 30 fronts at them and a Jack that may spy...may come With Wilson re-injured...and apparently something new....wonder who gets on board to fill the missing spot we played without Another DB would be pointless....we have essentially 11 dressed....And for what Griffen has been doing....in case of an in game injury he can cover..SAM...any DB spot and WIL as well and from the bulk of the season I would have him right up there as one of our more valuable defenders this yr...He allows us to do so much and is excellent tackler And with Ayers and Jones showing nice chemistry out there please roster another import Dline guy to if not for anything see what it can create

I think he will do welll...He has a nice rapport and connection to players....and he has been around a while now.....you can see there is a huge shift there since he took over....gotta let him have this yr and next to put his stamp on it

This free agency...we need to target the best DE and the best impact LB...no questions asked. Then a legit Canadian Oline guy if we don't swing a trade for one....all preferably 28 or under

that...and absolutely zero pursuit ability...it's almost comical watching him well after a play trotting up to the pile...or how he is gassed and has no ability to finish plays when guys have flushed the QB or ball carrier right to where he is...literally several times within a foot or 2...and he cant even just fall down in front of them to slow them up...its really brutal if you watch him exclusively over a course of a game...I have...it's awful....I recommend you all do ot...and make note on big gains...who was on the field more times than not herein lies the issue that many of us have been harping on...loyalty to, and clinging onto old guard vets...who dont' have it any moe...and having no succession plan in place to even cover an in game/season injury or ineffectiveness....let alone forward looking We always get the "yeah they will figure it out"..."they will work on some thing"....Which is all fine and dandy when it is mental miscues, or inexperience...not when it is past the best before date cant cherry pick 1 play to validtae a point....do you know tho what the call was and the players responsibility?...thats a big part of it too

typical tackle too...play filtered into him basically stuck in a block or cause he had no penetration into pocket...Younger plays guys he is afforded...He doesnt get Adams or any other factor in the middle....and Schmeck is equally as inneffective....so yeah..Thomas gets reps sadly

Yup...times and styles have changed...I was in rooms where some the defensive guys had dislike for offensive...and vice versa...and many instances where guys...on same team all year hardly knew other teamates...but good teams made it work, as when game time came they were all for one You need the tight close room now...to a point...even nowadays the over loyal treatment to some rubs guys...both yhoung and vet the wrong way a bit...won't say it publicly but they see when a guy is playing who shouldn't be and it doesn't always sit right...especially when you are dragging ass with your record

I think he was setting up for actually good position initially...he just didnt look and see the ball was severely underthrown and didn't adjust...it happens....but gotta look back as well when "ball" is yelled Thats how the majority of the Faj's deep shots were/are made....poor under thrown ball where DB didnt adjust as they were focused on receiver and not looking for ball in air

yup...pretty much...and sad to say but only an injury is gonna get Thomas parked.....his "leadership" is easily replaced on the field and he can still offer it from sidelines...BA too...he has played well of late but still will cough up a huge..HUGE gaff every now and then....can't have that out of a "vet"

Realistically anytime Biggie the last 2 yrs has been out...we havnt missed him at all...or even noticed....and many times our LB's made some big plays....athletic ones....age is a s.o.b

Thats a good observation and why I say that the suggesting of Case...and keeping Mitchell....ain't gonna help us Wheatfall Has the body type and don't really see him needing to add anything mote than 5 pounds or so...Clercius if we actually use him and integrate him more can be just as effective if not better than Cottoy, as Clercius has crazy good hands What ails us more than anything from my perspectives the routes we have guys running...or at times the lack there of, as well as we have been showing minimal creativity, and next to no motion and receiver runs...or threat of it to build off and set things up as a diguise...We are very predictable, and teams know when we need to make a certain down or distance...know the handfull of 3..4 plays we gonna run...and hence why Lawler is always competing for balls or fed into double and triple coverage...and teams show mild attention to guys pre-snap and right after ZC first read and then just drop away and blanket where they know the 1 or 2 spots the ball is going...

when the games get really important...and big...we will be pretty happy we have Lawler.....and he will come up huge...You can bank on that
