  1. Agree Jacquie It's a terrible problem.... The Nato countries have been bombing the middle east without stopping, since 1990, from Bush senior, all through Clinton's "no fly zone" over Iraq, ( By 1999, the Department of Defense had flown over 200,000 sorties over Iraq.) to Bush junior's invasion, and thereafter right to today. Basically twenty five consecutive years of bombing the middle east somewhere or other. also, it's worth remembering, that after US attacked Afghanistan to destroy Bin Laden, the job was basically done. Al Quaeda was routed, scattered, and had almost nobody left. Then the Americans and British, for some reason, under Bush and Blair, invaded Iraq, where the dictator was the enemy of Al Quaeda. There was no Al Quaeda of any kind in Iraq. There is now. This attack, is what the CIA calls "blowback" Time to look for some other solution.
  2. Did not listen, BUT...if he was saying Brohm is good enough to be our quarterback, or backup, I disagree. They've given Brohm enough chances, and they certainly appear to think that he's good enough. Pro Moss /Walters people. Please tell us if you want Brohm back, and whether or not you think he's a decent second string quarterback in the CFL. And will you lose some faith in your coach/management, if they bring him back, and make him second string qb?
  3. some of the people that blew up the world trade centre were living in the USA, taking flying lessons, under surveillance, one guy was stopped in Canada by the RCMP, the RCMP were told by the Americans he was not a problem, that they were not intereste in him. So, Mike might be on to something. The system they have is more designed to make someone a pile of money, than anything else.
  4. looked like some of the defenceman are letting the stars forwards come too far in across the blue line, before engaging them..... like right ten feet from the net 8 (trouba?) had a bad giveaway around the jets net... then seemed unable to do anything to help, just kind of poked around with his stick... the defence at times looks disorganized, and sometimes not getting to the puck first in their own end, which seems like a pretty bad thing. for a few minutes it looked like the goalie v. the Stars. At times this game and the one before, the Jets really peppered the other team's goalie, I know in this game they at one point had far more shots on goal, but still losing, Offence is pretty good I think. I think expecting players to be interviewed before during and after every game is nuts. last night.... should have left them alone.
  5. You've guessed wrong. There are almost no people in either American party that are anythinig more than puppets for the banks, oil companies, military industrial corps, drug manufactuers, big ag, and so on. Senator Durbin:
  6. I saw a lot of Ottawa games sinopoli was really good, but Westerman should win this. He wrecked a lot of offensive plays this year, chased guys across and downfield, didn't quit on any plays, he's fast, strong, didn't cause any kind of fuss in a horrible year..... really like him. who knows, playing on such a crapola team.....
  7. Strangely enough, people don't seem to want a third Bush as President. Might have something to do with the trillion dollars and counting war his brother started. or something.
  8. edit. question already answered. I started making beer from kits, it's easy, and the results are pretty good.... and I enjoy the process.
  9. "In a new McClatchy-Marist poll, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) leads Republican candidate Donald Trump by a landslide margin of 12 percentage points, 53 to 41. In the McClatchy poll, Sanders also leads former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush ® by a landslide margin of 10 points, 51 to 41. The huge Sanders advantage over Trump is not new. In the last four match-up polls between them reported by Real Clear Politics, Sanders defeated Trump by margins of 12, 9, 9 and 2 percentage points. The huge Sanders advantage over Bush is new. In previous match-ups, the polling showed Sanders and Bush running virtually even, with Bush holding a 1-point lead over Sanders in most of the polls. Future polls will be needed to test whether the huge Sanders lead over Bush in the McClatchy poll will be repeated in future polling or whether the McClatchy poll is an outlier. It is shocking that the data suggests that Sanders has a lead over Trump that could be so huge that he would win a landslide victory in the presidential campaign," The Hill
  10. lol.... can't type tracy's given name it gets censored
  11. right..... Donal Logue.... Canadian actor. I agree.... Penguin should be winning some things. amazing acting. from smarmy devious schemer, to violent psychotic in the blink of an eye. saw an interview of him on "innerspace".... very nice guy, down to earth, and grateful for this success. I like the extreme closeups of the faces, basically black and white.... in moments of intensity, reminds of a living version of a **** Tracy comic.
  12. better be able to run with our Pass "protection."
  13. Gotham has great camera/lighting/cinematography, sets, costumes, characters, actors, very creepy characters, who I find quite realistic, (Gordon's ex fiance gave me the full willies.... good actress) really good program but hard to watch due to extreme violence. Penguin... total lunatic. well portrayed. Gordon's partner is outstanding, so is the actor playing Gordon, who is just a smidge on the right side of sane himself. (character) Gordon's girl friend... actress Morena Bacarin, played the leader of the aliens in "V" a few years ago. which was also a good program. Longmire is good too also on netflix, but again really dark.
  14. There is a definitely a double standard regarding those two coaches. Also, people have been telling me all season, that our two fifths at least of the O line was useless at best. Someone explain how Marcel is supposed to call plays that overcome this problem. Which play(s) would that be? How do you work around that problem again? I
  15. Dr evil foresaw the future of movies! cause I've seen that shark movie he mentioned.
  16. I agree with all the previous posts.
  17. Is "character" more important than ability to play football to our coach and management? I think it might be.
  18. one of my favourite commentors on american election.... discusses debate "I case anyone missed it, we had the Rs debate on the economy last night. Two debates actually, the lesser one with the guys that score 2% or less in the polls, and then the main event with all the big guys. We should be inundated today with expert opinion about what they said and who the “winners” are. In the meantime, for some reason I feel compelled to make a few un-expert and wholly inadequately detailed and un-fact checked observations. Debate I (the guys that won’t be elected to the jobs they have now) 1) Christie reminds of John Candy’s Evil Twin. 2) The general consensus seems to be we need a small government that dominates the world. Any of the candidates can do it. 3) The one exception being Jindal (LA Guvernator). We need a small government and the country should emulate the economy of Louisiana. 4) I can’t put my finger on anything else that needs mentioning. Debate II (People we need to be Very Serious about) 1) Lots of rather impressive oratory, some of it even sounded informed. (see my fact checking disclaimer) I have no idea which planet, alternative universe, or time line they are talking about. This would concern me, but the audience would cheer and clap at regular intervals. 2) Given the uncertainty in 1), the general consensus seems to be we need a small government that dominates wherever it is we are. Any of the candidates can do it. 3) The one exception being Senator Paul (Ky). We need a small government and the country should emulate the economy of Kentucky. 4) We have a big national debt ($19T) and we need tax cuts. 5) I can’t put my finger on anything else that needs mentioning." comment in response: "Thanks CB, now I feel I didn’t miss it. I was hoping to hear Christopher Chris Christie Christ Almighty I’m Hungry walked over to Bobby Jindal’s lectern, sprinkled some salt on him, and then ate him on live TV."
  19. Paul Craig Roberts, assistant secretary to the treasury under R. Reagan, associate editor and columnist for The Wall Street Journal and columnist for Business Week and the Scripps Howard News Service.on trans pacific partnership: and so on.
