There are tons of rock bands.... some really good ones, but it's really tough for any band or musician, no matter what they play, rock, folk, country, pop, to make money these days. No gigs, low pay, lack of interest. Pay for bands hasn't increased since the seventies. Big Wreck is a great band with a Canadian singer. Just no money in it anymore. Almost impossible to make even a meagre living. Most musicians have to support themselves doing something else, housepainting for instance. People aren't very interested in music these days. At least nothing like they were in the past.

To me, excusing the head coach cause the assistant he stuck with isn't very good... makes no sense. Do a better job of picking your staff, it's part of what you're supposed to be able to do. Willy took countless hits, some of them I remember being after the ball was gone, a helmet to helmet, and in a few cases, no penalty called. Whether or not some football fans are ok with the hits on the quarterbacks, doesn't matter. If you're ok with it, your in the group that doesn't mind watching mediocre backups play boring football for most of the season. Cause that's the result, legal or not. Look at the trouble NFL teams have getting decent quarterbacks. CFL has it worse. If they don't do something, the league will be gone soon enough, cause it sure as hell is boring watching the games this season. And I'm a fan of the league. I can imagine what luke warm fans think watching some of the worthless games we've seen this year.

burris has taken two in consecutive games.... one from the Bombers and one by Hamilton. Just what the league needs, new franchise, good fan support, probably going to the Grey Cup, starting QB dinged at the end of the season by hits to the knees.

lol iso any opinions on Bryant, defensive tackle this year? I didn't notice him much till the last game. Does that mean he had a bad year, or was he doing something that I am not likely to see, due to my lack of understanding? anyway I'm predicting big things for him in this last game.

Not just buff though? The crazy fast pace of these games, together with travelling.... Common sense says it's going to affect most of them. I don't think it's possible to play full out night after night specially throwing in travelling.

Great idea ..... I think we need a PM of Canada reality tv show. They could have Justin and spouse alarmed for various problems, maybe show them arguing about something.... could be a huge world wide hit, and pay for a lot of other stuff. show the kids going to kindergarten, being cute when foreign leaders show up.... The league was crap last year, and it's worse this year. I don't know what his job is, but I would like him to push the league in to doing something serious about protecting the quarterbacks. It's not much fun to watch a league with rookie quarterbacks, some of them ok, some of them lousy, playing many if not most of the games. Sask, Wpg, Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal, BC, Edmonton all playing backups for much of the year. we see late hits over and over again on quarterbacks, with nothing effective done to stop it. Are the teams too stupid to see that this is not good? or is it the league head office? It's not that complicated. err on the side of protecting the qb. git er done commissioner!
