  1. Simonise is better than Durant. nice play call by bo for a td on ottawa blitz
  2. Americans have been screwing around with the Ukraine for a while now. remember the "colour revolution"? Ukraine, was in the Russian sphere of influence, and economics. Americans wanted Ukraine away from Russia, and into Europe. Obama/Clinton was part of that.
  3. Non scientists having opinions in opposition to those of scientists, on climate change. this is perfect. LOL !
  4. If bo was on the bombers (ugg) we could call him little Bo Blue. 😂 Unfortunate that Andre Proulx is not the ref. His French Canadian accent is a highlight of every game he refs. Game won't be as good without "turd down" ?
  5. Things heating up in the Ukraine/Russia standoff. France 24 MARIUPOL (UKRAINE) (AFP) - Seagulls whirl over the docks of Ukraine's port of Mariupol on the Sea of Azov as huge cranes once used to unload ships' cargoes stand idle. The uncharacteristic quiet is the product of rising tensions in the small sea, the waters of which Russia and Ukraine agreed to share more than a decade ago, but is now the latest theatre in the bitter conflict between the two nations. Russia's annexation of the Crimean peninsula from Ukraine in 2014 means ships must now pass through a narrow strait bordered by Russian-controlled territory on both sides, while Kremlin-backed rebel regions of eastern Ukraine are uncomfortably close to Mariupol. In a growing crisis, Kiev and the West accuse Russia of deliberately blocking ships from entering the sea. "The whole time I've worked here, I've never seen anything like it," said Sergiy Kostyrko, a tanned foreman who has worked at the Mariupol docks for 23 years. "Ships have become very rare visitors to our port." today..... https://www.newsweek.com/ukraine-navy-says-its-artillery-ship-was-hit-russian-fire-1230317 Let's see who Trump sides with here.
  6. Bo interview on 1290. Sounds like he's gone. question. what will your legacy in the CFL be? answer. "winner" What an ass. been in three cups, won one. Had last season's in the bag, had to throw the glorious td pass at the end. Do not see him making it in the NFL. Don't care either way.
  7. did he really get five goals on five total shots on goal?
  8. Be interesting to see if the crowd cheers for Ottawa. No idea which team will win, except I think it should be close. It's impressive that with all so many injuries, Calgary still got to the Greycup.
  9. maybe not; I watched it once, I thought he hit him from behind, and drove his head into the glass.
  10. That was a brutal cross check/charging, boarding, whatever you want to call it on Andrew Copp. ruins the sport.
  11. don't think it was him, there was nothing about Sask that I heard.
  12. 1290 guest (didn't get name) speculating that LaPolice will be getting interviewed for head coaching job. other he people mentioned, Chamblin, Dickensen (sask ), Elizondo, Thorpe, Steinauer.
  13. Humorous Trump doings outlined here. for instance: and "Commander in Chief Trump is surprised to learn a colonel he's talking to in Afghanistan commands 10k people. "Wow! That's a lot of people. That's fantastic. That's beautiful. And you're enjoying what you're doing, is that right?"" "Trump, like a lunatic, asks troops in Bahrain to weigh in on his trade war since "we have been taken advantage of for many years by bad deals." He's not all there. scroll down. It's really funny. https://digbysblog.blogspot.com/
  14. just noticed on twitter sidebar "Dave Dickensen says Stamps don't get enough respect" I have never heard O'Shea whine about anything.
  15. I agree.... It isn't the only one that matters. Thanks for your post. I agree with you. I was an O'Shea skeptic, but I am completely on his side now. He's not perfect, but there isn't a head coach in the CFL that I would rather have than Mike O'Shea.
  16. It's time for them to get involved in politics, counter the oil company handouts. parts of the coastal areas in the usa are already uninsurable, and are covered by government funded insurance. a lot of those commies down in Florida rely on it.
  17. If he doesn't attempt to continue playing .here, or some other team, I hope he can stay as a coach.
  18. good summary of things https://www.wunderground.com/cat6/October-2018-Earths-2nd-Warmest-October-Record?cm_ven=cat6-widget October 2018 was the planet's second-warmest October since record keeping began in 1880, said NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) on Tuesday. The only warmer October came in 2015. NASA also rated October 2018 as the second-warmest October on record behind 2015. Minor differences in rankings between NASA and NOAA can arise because of how they handle data-sparse regions such as the Arctic, where few surface weather stations exist. Global ocean temperatures during October 2018 were the second warmest on record, and land temperatures were also the second warmest on record, according to NOAA. it is increasingly likely that the five warmest years on record globally will be 2014 through 2018. If an El Niño event develops this winter, as predicted, 2019 will have a very good chance of giving us six straight years that are each among the top six warmest years on record, barring a massive climate-cooling volcanic eruption in the tropics. Signs of hope, there seem to finally be some people elected in the States who are not going to shrug this off in exchange for oil money.
  19. and thrashed the Bombers this season. I remember when mbb posters told us DesJardins was a terrible gm. don't hear that much anymore. I suppose some fans think it would be better to have a crap, losing team in Ottawa so the CFL could have another failing team.
  20. and J. Kushner giving president's CIA briefing to the Saudi Arabian prince.
  21. Which team would have won if they traded quarterbacks?
