  1. It is about changing behavior. and Yes it will change behaviour. Takes a while for some players to change. but they do. Looks like Micah Awe has stopped head shots. It'll take a while, but the intentional head shots will stop. Maybe they will also use the sky camera. This is something that has been a part of football for decades. Not long ago, these kind of hits were celebrated, and put on highlight reels.Jack Tatum etc. gloating players standing over the prone concussed player. Not going to change in a year.
  2. I'm very glad they did this, should definitely help make players that are inclined to take head shots, stop doing it. Anything they can do to help stop head shots, is good. Ejection is what I want to see for the worst of it. I think it's odd that people are so critical. Very small, way to look at it. Slow down the game? so what. We are talking about brain damage, who gives a crap if this slows the game down, or results in a couple of questionable penalties. I also disagree that Ambrosie is doing a bad job. reffing is a problem in every single sports league in the world. Our guys for the most part do a decent job.
  3. I would like to see A. Harris, Streveler, and O line run the ball all over the field. maybe another 200 yards on the ground. I would also like to see a Nichols to Adams 50 yard bomb for a T.D. , and a pick six off Bo. and as well.... I hope that the Bombers have some things up the Mike's sweatshirt sleeve that will surprise Dave "Whiney" Dickensen
  4. Or they're trying to regain a tiny shred of credibilty. Probably not.
  5. use ignore, works well. good article with science, about california fires. https://www.yaleclimateconnections.org/2018/11/the-many-ways-climate-change-worsens-california-wildfires/ " a climate scientist says the reality on the ground is surpassing what a government report projected just months ago in assessing the links between climate change and an increasing frequency and severity of wildfires in the state. After a dry summer and fall, powerful winds over the past week swept flames through the town of Paradise in Northern California, killing at least 42 (50 now) people and destroying more than 6,500 (7600now) homes, officials said Tuesday. Two more fires near Los Angeles chased more than 200,000 people from their homes as the flames quickly spread, adding to a string of fires that have caused billions of dollars in damage this year. "I think what we have been observing has consistently been outpacing what we've been predicting," said LeRoy Westerling, professor of management of complex systems at the University of California, Merced, who modeled the risk of future wildfires as part of the California Climate Change Assessment released in August." that is.....the predicitions are on the low side. Calgary 1000 year flood, Ft McMurray, BC record fires.
  6. If this woman Ricardel is close to John Bolton, good riddance. Maybe the world will catch a break, and he'll be next. We would all be a lot safer. One of the biggest chicken hawks.
  7. new territory every day with these freaks. republicans might wake up soon from their trance. dangerous time, cause trumps are running on the rims. but the arizona result gives me hope for better days.
  8. Bridge has not been in the best situation to learn how to be a CFL quarterback.
  9. are you gonna let him off the hook?
  10. to me, it looked like 94 was attempting to hit with his shoulder. He's never made any kind of dirty play, late hits, head shot, nothing like that. not once that I can recall. So it would be odd for Jeffcoat to suddenly pull that kind of thing. Also, hard hits are part of the Bombers way of playing, O and D, but definitely not late and dirty hits.
  11. I Don't think Ricky played many downs in the NFL. But maybe Bo can make it. That's fine, better for the Bombers anyway.
  12. Have a look at the twitter that Troy Westwood linked to, about some oddball stuff going on down there with Fox news, it's speculation, but it's interesting. @gregolear
  13. The Walters era O line. Any team in the league would make a straight trade. And ornery Neufeld..... no doubters now. This game reminded me of a game years ago, think it was Walby and friends with Willard carrying the ball, cold playoff game, close score ball deep in their own end, needed to move it out, they just ground it out with Reaves right down the field, and won. Could not be stopped. I can't remember when or what team it was they played. I really like that kind of football. The Sask D was completely helpless against that run attack. JBR in chat said Jones said "we can't stop them" Maybe a few shortcomings, but Overall, I just can't see how you can criticize Walters.
  14. I think the Bombers have the best quarterback situation in the CFL. I read that with Glenn, Sask had 35 TD passes. The Bombers know about how hard it is to get a good quarterback. Hard for me to really tell, but I don't think Bo Levi has an NFL strength arm.
  15. After a very wet October, heavy precipitation has continued in parts of Arabian Gulf. #Kuwait received nearly its total annual average rainfall in 6 hours Friday. Meteorological services in #SaudiArabia, #Jordan, #UAE and other countries also issued alerts for storms and floods Wind turbines generated the equivalent of 98% of all Scotland’s electricity demand in October, according to new analysis. WWF Scotland said that National Grid demand for the month was 1,850,512 MWh and that almost all of this could have been provided by wind turbines, which provided record levels of power. Turbines generated the equivalent of 98% of all Scotland’s electricity demand or enough to power nearly five million homes last month, the group said. Demand that day was 45,274.5MWh and wind generation was 234% of that. Dr Sam Gardner, acting director at WWF Scotland, said: “What a month October proved to be, with wind powering on average 98% of Scotland’s entire electricity demand for the month, and exceeding our total demand for a staggering 16 out of 31 days.
  16. Harris, O line, Paul LaPolice for grinding it out with harris and streveler at the end. And surprise for leaving Streveler in there. Not sure Nichols liked it, but it worked.
  17. Reilly likes Maas, and playing in Edmonton. This Is what I have read.
  18. yeah should have tried jennings. oh well. Hope the other game isn't the close one today.
