  1. Not tampering, but if the trade deal is that once FA opens no draft pick it would be pretty hard to convince anyone that a deal was not in place prior to FA if we filed it 1 minute into FA. In that case, the league may decide to award the draft pick.
  2. Who knows they may have agreed upon a minimum window, say 24 or 48 hours past the opening of FA.
  3. The Argos would have a pretty compelling case with the league that the deal was done pre-FA if that were to happen.
  4. I am sure that Pinball feels pretty comfortable that if it gets that far down the road that Collaros would take the call from him before signing.
  5. Dan Barnes of the Toronto Sun was on CJME during Grey Cup week and stated that the first round compensation for Collaros is only in effect until the opening of FA. Once FA 2020 hits the deal is finalized. He said Pinball just wanted insurance for a chance to re-sign him.
  6. No...but I'm sure he could have probably made one nice throw had the team made it.
  7. I am a few years behind on this site...lol. There....updated....
  8. Justin Goltz made a nice throw one time.
  9. Somewhere out in the nether regions of the Land of Unhireable Coaches, Mike Kelly is sipping his coffee saying "See I told you".
  10. Only go to town for groceries and beer....but yeah...it's a shithole. Paint Lake is beautiful though. BTW, it's number one for violent crime not crime in general...any old city could do that.
  11. Now, now....they have a thriving denturist business in Saskatchewan.
  12. True...but at the same time going into the land of sisterly love and winning in the playoffs is tough. Our players had to overcome the effects of the halitosis from 30000 mouth breathers in order to win. That's mental toughness man. Regina is not the loudest stadium in the league, nor does it have the best fan base, but they show up with their secret weapon....gum disease.
  13. He has, and will receive drug tests at regular intervals since his suspension and for the remainder of his career. I doubt it is once a week because performance enhancement drugs stay in your system for quite some time and drug testing is expensive.
  14. The odds of going into 3 games on the road and beating 3 teams with a combined record of 40-14 in the playoffs cannot be undersold. Anyone who thinks we didn't do an absolute masterpiece in this playoffs doesn't know how difficult this achievement was. It was a master stroke of coaching and execution. PERIOD. This has only been done 5 times in the history of the CFL and NEVER in such a convincing fashion. This was a historic run through the playoffs, and not just because we won the Grey Cup but because we literally had to play 3 Grey Cup calibre teams and beat them in their own house to do it.
  15. I'm no Pollyanna by any stretch of the imagination but some of these posts criticizing our play calling on Sunday border on the bizarre quite frankly.
  16. That was 6 years ago. The time for apology was many years ago. Over the past several years most people have acknowledged that he has built a good team...even those who initially had some trepidation.
  17. I don't think Kyle is owed an apology. I don't recall him facing a ton of criticism like Lapo or Hall or even MOS at times.
  18. Lapo and Hall both called excellent games on Sunday. Stalled drives just might be attributed to Hamilton's number one defence doing their best to keep them in the game. End of the day when you hang 30+ on their defence, and you keep their O to under 15 points your coordinators have done an excellent job preparing the players, game planning and calling plays. Those are just the facts. There have been times each of these guys have deserved criticism, but you have to be highly biased not to give these guys their due for Sunday.
  19. It would be a nice sentiment but I doubt Milt, Doug, or Charlie want a pity ring.
  20. I went to a game there. It's garbage.
  21. As someone who posts on both, my unbiased opinion is that TEP is busier than here.
  22. I had a PM from Brian yesterday where he confirmed offseason up dates are definitely going ahead.
  23. The majority of the league is on one year contracts. You don't think that every decent player that Toronto has isn't looking to jump ship after the season they just had? Also, Toronto is a crap show for facilities for the players. Tons of complaints this year that the players didn't even know where they would be practicing from week to week because they rent their practice facilities from wherever there is some available. BMO is a 3rd rate stadium and the soccer team gets first dibs on time use there. I think that MOS leaving has to be considered a longshot.
  24. That brings us back to the conversation where he has looked Walters in the eye and said he wants to be back.
