  1. I agree. Legghios punting was God awful that game
  2. Yea...Cui didn't hire the GM and coach that started this tire fire. He just wasn't able to extinguish it.
  3. And Ellingsons catch radius.
  4. Yes..back foot only if the front is not planted.
  5. The name change is not the problem. Attendance and fan interest will dry up in any market if you can't win a home game in 3 years.
  6. Migs saying they will win 2 out of the next 3. Too delusional that guy. They will be lucky if they are within 2 tds in any of those games. Maybe...average 12-14 pts a game and their defence will do well if they can hold BC or us to 25 pts.
  7. That's what I was thinking as well but couldn't quite tell. There is a few milliseconds on every play that the ball is moving but no one has reacted yet.
  8. Yea..and it's pretty consistently called the same way
  9. Yea. When I stated back foot that was right from Tom Higgins when he was head of officiating in CFL. He used to have a Q&A on CFL.ca. He said it's not the rule but for consistency that is how the officials call it. Too hard to call in real time by the rule without calling offside every play. It stuck with me because I thought it was weird the head of officiating would call something different than what the rules state. He did also say officials go to every teams TC and explain it, and other rules and how they will be called to the players.
  10. Difference between Crum and Brown is that Brown is a QB and Crum is a RB that occasionally throws. The prospect that can throw will have more success. The Crums and Fords will replace the Prukops in time. Both types have useful skills...the thrower will earn a lot more.
  11. Back foot is what they go by.
  12. Yes. Mike Kelly was as bad...maybe worse. Worst HC of the last 10 years...hands down...that NFL guy with glasses Montreal had. Just awful. Didn't know the CFL game at all. Mike Sherman I think
  13. Yea for sure. Wilson is almost as fast as Ford is and is waaaaay faster than Maruo or Briggs. He will help in that regard big time. Even Clements if he were healthy would have been huge against Ottawa.
  14. Never said it was bullying. The bullying is when people are called stupid, or lesser than for their beliefs. I have no issue either with people openly being in favor or against abortion in a respectful manner that doesn't interfere with anyone elses morality on the issue. I do not believe anti-abortion should be demonstrating, looking to over turn abortion rights etc. I will concede that there are those who are anti pro-choice that deserve the scorn and criticism they receive.
  15. I would hate to see how bad their awful passing game would be without Bane. He is a good receiver. However, as you alluded to...he has to maintain it.
  16. Yea...for sure. Doesn't hurt he is getting targeted 10 times a game though.
  17. The wind blows hard in the vortex. I'm out.
  18. I am fully aware and it does not change my opinion. I do not want my child exposed to these discussions in grade 2. It is too young imo.
  19. I have no issues with abortion whatsoever, and am against anyone who would actively try to overturn it. I am against someone being told they don't have the right to that opinion though. I have issues with grade 2 students being taught any sexuality related content. It's not the content, it's the age. At a higher grade level I am fully in favor of it. Nah, I'm done...hopefully. The election is honestly not top of mind for me in the coming months. I want the PCs to lose this one. I am not happy with their governing thus far.
  20. At any rate, I will leave you guys with the last word on this. Even though, this discussion is actually a good one I believe with open and honest conversation taking place, I promised myself I would not get sucked back into political debate on any online forums. Cheers to you all. I will take my leave.
  21. Great...so if someone who pushes pro-abortion on someone who is not comfortable with it is an ******* too right? If not, that's quite the double standard. Secondly nobody said opposition to gender diversity. What was stated was many parents, actually 41% of the population of Canada, according to a recent poll is against teaching this to elementary grade students with no option for parents to opt their child out. Should they not be allowed to express their concerns without the Prime Minister of Canada telling them they are being brainwashed by the far right? Many believe this is far too young to initiate teachings about human sexuality. I am one of them and I don't think that makes me intolerant to LGBTQ in any way.
  22. Take it seriously. However, and I agree that misrepresentation deserves response, the manner of response is important to any discussion. Divisiveness builds when someone feels their opinion gives them the right to belittle another. If someone doesn't believe in abortion, or schools teaching gender diversity...that does not make them a bad person.
  23. Absolutely disagree. When people are attacked for their opinion, morality, personal beliefs without civility or decorum then the attacker is every bit as much to blame for the problem as the person expressing a possibly misinformed opinion. It's complete garbage, and a crutch used by those who wish to bully others into their groupthink. There is never any need for name calling, intimidation, or insults is proper discussions. NEVER. I mean honestly how can anyone think that this is acceptable decorum in conversation?
  24. I like the rule, actually, because it keeps our good receivers on the field more.
  25. You get what I'm saying. That is all I will say because I am not getting sucked back into the vortex.
