Perreault does too many great things with Sceif. Although swapping him with Ladd might be interesting. -
Pens return Daniel Slrong to Junior. Burned a year of his contract. What a mess this team is. Will GM Rutherford be there next season?

Little and wheeler dominating. And their line mate just sort of there -
insults are easy. For example you have a habit of attacking People but it doesn't make you sound nearly as wise as you think it does.

Bit of a message being sent to our captain. Armia seemed to do well. -
Game 32 : Forest Rangers @ Jets

Sun For the second time in three games, Paul Maurice sent a message to one of his leaders, though he wasn't about to publicly take him to task. After sitting down defenceman Dustin Byfuglien for a good chunk of the second period against the Chicago Blackhawks last week after taking a pair of minor penalties, the head coach of the Winnipeg Jets took captain Andrew Ladd off the top line for most of the third period in Friday's 5-2 win over the New York Rangers. Ladd had an otherwise effective game, chipping in an empty-net goal and an assist while his line was in on four of the five goals. However, after taking a tripping minor late in the first period and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty during the second period that eventually led to a power-play goal from Dan Boyle, Ladd found himself bumped to the third unit with Alex Burmistrov and Nikolaj Ehlers to start the third period. “Just some housekeeping,” said Maurice, when asked about the rationale behind the decision. “That's the word I used and I'm sticking to it too.” Ladd was asked about the change in linemates as well. “It's something that's between me and the coach,” said Ladd. “I'm sure he wasn't happy about that penalty.” For what it's worth, Ladd didn't sound off to the officials on the play and actually slashed Rangers defenceman Marc Staal behind the play on the way to the bench, which led to the penalty call. Either way, it's the type of undisciplined penalty the Jets are trying to eliminate from their collective game. Thorburn, meanwhile, earned the promotion on a night he became the franchise leader in games played at 595, passing Ilya Kovalchuk for top spot. ken.wiebe@sunmedia.ca Twitter.com/WiebeSunSports -
I understand the idea of Copp as untouchable. I mean, sure if someone blows your socks off with an offer you consider it. But no one will. He's a very good bottom Six guy. He's very young. He could be the 4th line center for 15 years. It's an important role. You don't trade talented young players if you can help it.

The knowing glances around Rey could also be that Han and Leia know she's lukes kid The issue is that she was old enough when abandoned to remember her parents. And if she is Luke's then it opens up the question of her mother. Also when she heard Luke's name she said she thought he was a myth. But you have to assume she's "someone" other than just Rey. She has the right look to be a Skywalker as far as Padme and Leia go. I'm curious about Von Sydow. I guess he could be no one but why would he have the missing map piece? He knows the resistance ofcourse. He referred to Leia being "royalty" to him (implying he knew her as Princess). He knows Kylo and who he is. Kylo knows him "look how old you've become". And he refers to family. Has to be "someone". -

I agree about Maul. His character having a more exotic style made perfect sense. The prequels really made saber fights boring. All style no substance. Even the Anakin/Kenobi fight just went on and on and on and had that terrible climax (high ground). Bleh Force Awakens has a ton of missing info. Lots of back story to fill in for the expanded universe and future films. -
Lol @wannabe. Not sure what was "wrong" in my post considering it was sarcasm. You know the earth has been colder than now and hotter than now right? You know it's cyclical right? Lol

Here's a fun fact. The storm trooper that Rey used the Jedi mind trick on was Daniel Craig. And why a final scene. I long assumed the last shot would be Luke pulling back his hood. But that wordless exchange between Rey and Luke was tremendous. -

I think Kylo's sword fighting made sense. It's more simple and barbaric. If you remember even Luke was not a sophisticated swordsman in Jedi. It makes sense that perhaps the ballet style dramatic sword play is a lost art. -

Yes that blue lightsaber was the one belonging to Anakin in the prequels that Kenobi takes and gives to Luke on A New Hope. Luke loses it on the fight with Vader. I think Kylo was toying with Finn and Rey at first. He backed her up to the cliff edge and then it was her summoning the force that allowed her to defeat him. One review I read said she was previously trained but her knowledge was suppressed. Not sure about that. Apparently the film was te edited and the "vision" Rey sees when touching the saber was originally a vision caused by Maz and was more involved showing the journey of the saber from Empire (including showing clips of Vader vs Luke). If you listened carefully you could hear vader speaking to Luke during that vision. One thought I had was that Rey is actually another Solo child. And perhaps hidden away when Ben fell. There was Some knowing glances around her. Would explain better if Han was watching over her. And wanted her to join his crew in an effort to keep her out of the fight. One thing I read was that every time anyone would seem to talk about her or ask about her the film cut away. Kylo seemed to know her too. Maz hinted too when she told Rey she knew her "family" wasn't going back for her on Jaaku. I liked that they showed us some torment in Kylo. And that it even helps us appreciate Anakin's fall a bit which was all too easy in Revenge. Kylo explains he is being torn apart inside and needs to stop the pain. He has to choose a side. One thing though. When he's soeskong to Vader he says "show me again, show me one more" or something like that. Is kylo conversing with Anakin?? Is he seeing visions? -

Fantastic film. Perfect? No. But about as close to originals as possible. Very very good. I did not have an issue with the Kylo/Rey fight. They made it very clear that Kylo was pretty badly wounded. But one thing I think was purposeful was Kylo's fighting style with a light saber. It was very clubbing and basic. It seems to me that while he is very skilled in force power he is not very skilled in swordplay. Snoke referred to completing Kylo's training. So we know Kylo is not fully trained, not a Sith. I think we can conclude he isn't a great swordsman. Plus Rey was completely guided by the force. I thought the new actors were tremendous. I wasn't sure about Ridley because she seemed very small and skinny In the trailers. She is the star of this film. She's very good. Very natural. I have to run so here are some questions; Who was Max Von Sydow's character ? Is Rey Luke's daughter? Where does Snoke come from? -

What do you mean you *actually* agree with me? That should go without saying! They sent the front end loaders down my snow route steeet late last night. But no residential streets yet. Id like to know what has changed. Because in years last an army of equipment would invade a neighbourhood and it would be done. All of it. Is there less equipment now? Do they work less hours? I don't want to criticize the actually drivers but in many cases the former city snow plow drivers did a better job. Is it skill? Experience? Side walks used to be done quicker too. Still not done in my area...a major sidewalk along side a snow route. So it's well used for people catching busses. And they are forced to walk on the street.

I wouldn't trust Robinson as far as I can throw him. Then again, I'm just a do good white person. Manitoba's Progressive Conservatives say they may ask the elections watchdog to investigate an alleged deal between a Manitoba chief and NDP minister Eric Robinson. Robinson denies accusation he made promise for support for Selinger The chief of Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN) says aboriginal and northern affairs minister Eric Robinson asked his band to support Premier Greg Selinger in the election, in exchange for support for a Bipole III contract. 'It does certainly cast a very deep and wide ethical cloud over the government.' - PC MLA Kelvin Goertzen OCN Chief Michael Constant made the allegations in a letter he sent Robinson in April. Robinson denies the deal was made and says Constant was motivated by the fact that his bid on the more than $300 million contract had failed. PC MLA Kelvin Goertzen said the allegations are "disturbing". "I don't think it's enough to simply have a denial," Goertzen said. "We know that there were other people in the room who were saying exactly the opposite. So clearly something happened that people aren't agreeing upon and it might take a further investigation to determine exactly what happened and to see whether or not there were breaches of elections laws but it does certainly cast a very deep and wide ethical cloud over the government." Goertzen said Robinson may have breached section 178 of The Elections Act which states "a person who, directly or indirectly, offers a bribe to induce or influence another person" to vote for a particular candidate is guilty of an offence. The PCs say they want to review the case more before submitting a formal request for Manitoba's Commissioner of Elections to investigate. Commissioner Bill Bowles said he doesn't confirm whether his office receives complaints or whether investigations are underway. Pattern of 'dirty tricks', says Tory Goertzen said the alleged February 19 deal came during a time when Selinger and his supporters were trying to secure as much support as possible for the March 8 NDP leadership election. Robinson supported Selinger in the race that the premier called after a revolt from NDP cabinet ministers who questioned his ability to lead the NDP. Goertzen pointed to an allegation from around that time when Selinger supporter Rosann Wowchuk was accused of voter interference and intimidation in Swan River.
