  1. Didn't watch the whole so can't say if Hamonic had an off night. But if we got rid of every jet who had an off night we'd have no jets. also Burmi was slashed. I'll line up everyone of you and swipe your calf and see if you squirm.
  2. Lawless reports NHL will announce heritage classic in winnipeg this sunday. Game to be played in October. Little birdie tells me NHL ha already been booking hotel rooms. So it's confirmed.
  3. I definitely think people who dismissed trump were very wrong. I said that in this thread I believe, qute some time ago. I was reading about his health care plan which actually would garner a lot of support.
  4. Is Hamonic playing LHD or did TSN just reverse the starting D?
  5. Well I didn't think you were but I wasn't sure if you thought I was defending trump and was thus an ******* too!
  6. I was just reading up on this and in fact it's not undeniable at all. There are similar premises in comedy all the time. Some a awfully close I grant that but as others have pointed out the issue might be mlre her writers on her show than her. The food slap one was shown to hve been a premise on the Flintstones so the comedian saying any stole it from her, it wasn't even an original premise to begin with. and if you start hunting you'll find stuff like that all the time. Imagine how many comedians are out there. Nothing is original. Zero evidence Amy stole. So I'm on her side.
  7. Her jokes aren't funny since you found out they came from other people? (Allegedly).
  8. Yeah the reason some of these politicans are calling him scary is because it's an easy stick on a guy that is anti establishment. Other politicians have scary extreme views. Celebrities are the dirt worst when it comes to politics. They think money and fame makes them insightful. It generally makes them out of touch. But they influence people who are naive which is unfortunate.
  9. I liked Trainwreck. And I love Amy Schumer. She didn't show up all of a suddenly. She's been around for awhile working her way up. She did a bunch of those comedy central roasts. i don't think she thinks she's hotter than she is but I do think she's acxepting the fact that many people find her attractive and as a "heavier" woman she's cool with that. I think she's hot. Her personality and talent is very attractive. Little known fact - she used to date Dolph Ziggler. I hated Man of Steel. And not just the ending. I thought it was boring and over complicated superman and his kryptonian heritage for no reason.
  10. I loved bridesmaids.
  11. That looks horrible. McCarthy and Wiig are both cool but they seem mis-cast here.
  12. Is that directed at me? (You quoted my post). Are you calling me an ******* for my post? lol I didn't even really express an opinion (certainly not of Trump) other then simply theorizing that he wouldn't be able to blow up the world. The President, as the most powerful man in the world, has less power and control over his nation than even the PM has of Canada. The US has checks and balances. No President since Truman has used Nukes. The President is surrounded by advisors and administrators. When we disagree about policy, its within a reasonable framework of what a President can do. I think where Trump would be potentially bad is in hurting relationships with other nations. Sure he can do some stupid things like building walls and banning Muslims. But odds are four years later every crazy thing he did would be reversed. I think he would build the wall with Mexico. I don't think he'd ban Muslims. I think cooler heads would prevail. I think he'd compromise by increasing security and vetting of Muslim immigrants. He might direct federal law enforcement to work harder and digging into Muslim's and Mosques. The thing is, as many world leaders that are laughing or astonished right now, they'd all line up for their photo op with him. And he likely would be effective in some ways when it comes to negotiating certain things. But if he ever tried to do anything TOO insane, the backlash and resistance would overwhelm him. If it came down to war, he needs Congress to authorize. If it came down to the use of Nukes, he'd have resistance that might trigger a constitutional crises and his own removal from office. Sure, he;d stack the cabinet with his own people but they will still be people with experience and not likely to be crazy. And I believe it only takes a 2/3 majority of cabinet to declare the President unfit and remove him.
  13. He's always been that way. He's a very arrogant person. I rented the ballpark once and it turned into a huge dispute that was lucky not to end up in court (my partner and I wanted it to end up in court but our business manager made a deal behind our backs). When he was running for Mayor the first time, he promised to put the Goldeyes into a blind trust to avoid any appearance of conflict. When he was elected he changed his mind and said why should I? I used to work for the province and they have a very clear conflict of interest policy which is "appearance of conflict" is the same as actual conflict. Now, the Mayor isn't bound by the province but lets assume the City looks at conflict in the same way (at least they should), Sammy was constantly in conflict. But he had people around him to protect him. And for whatever reason he was a popular mayor so no one was going to challenge him. Without posting rumours, I sort of wonder about this talk of him and the Caspian guy being "friends". I hinted at this to someone I know who is in media and he said "I know I know". So the thought is out there. Ofcourse he can be friends or whatever with anyone he wants but there is speculation that he hides an aspect of his life which dovetails into the whole secrecy thing and where people are reluctant to shine a light on some of his relationships that could be cause for concern because it would paint people in a poor light to expose. Remember how he went nuts when the Free Press reported on one of his divorces.
  14. I'm not sure President Trump will do that. I'm not sure he could. In fact if he tried it may create a coup scenario where top military officials refuse to carry the orders. Not to mention congress won't go along. Trump could be impeached in his first term. But since he's a smart guy Id expect him, if he won, to drastically soften his rhetoric.
  15. Im no James Bond expert but one song I like that I always thought would be a cool Bond song is "If The World" by Guns N Roses... Off topic I know. Sorry guys
  16. Is Black Sails the one with all the sex and nudity? House of Cards is great. I recommend that.
  17. My concern with waiving him to the Moose is how he reacts. He wouldnt even go there on a conditioning stint. So he wont be happy playing for the Moose all season. If he puts on a happy face and plays as hard as he can, great. But if he sulks and becomes a negative influence in the dressing room, then its not a good idea. And that leaves little options. Trade. Buy Out.
  18. Hey, Kimmy is an expert in the Kama Sutra!
  19. And I think thats the best way forward. Even trying to predict a line up for next season, I forgot Perrault. So there will be options. In fact, Perreault needs to be re-signed in my opinion. I'd trade Stafford this summer if they want the money for Perreault, though I think theyd keep Stafford...
  20. For sure. Glad she recovered. She looks fantastic and healthy. Cameron was very religious. She made some controversial remarks about obeying her husband and stuff like that. Her brother was a zealot though. He got an actress fired from Growing Pains because she had previously posed for Playboy. I believe he's been very outspoken about gays too.
  21. One thing that could factor in is how Pavs is in the room. i've always heard he has an easy going manner but the fact he refused a conditioning sting with the Moose when he came off of injury annoys me. If they have decided to move on from him (which I assume is the case), they should get rid of him one way or another. Perhaps they can trade him and retain some salary. Even Calgary which picked up a goalie might want a bit more insurance by way of a veteran. If Jets retain some salary, its a cheap, low risk option and he's UFA...
  22. I agree Goalie. But with Hutch, I dont know. I dont see the Jets buying Pavs out. I think they'd just let him back up Helle. But that would mean either signing Hutch to a two-way deal, which he's unlikely to sign, or paying him NHL money to play in the AHL.
  23. I just googled her to find out what she's up to. She had a rough time. She's a recovering addict. She will be on Dancing With The Stars though, so that should be fun.
  24. Well she is engaged as of January. But she has three ex husbands. So give it some time....
  25. I forgot about Perreault. Geez..... Little had his best offensive season at RW and they toyed with the idea of him playing there at the start of this season when they had dreams of Lowry as 1C. Little prefer to play C though.
