Oh I know, nobody is going to give up benefits, I just suspect it will be suggested. Ie give up X or you could lose Y # of positions.

Agreed but I think you see wage freezes to start and perhaps you try to take away benefits in future agreements?

I suspect that if Gray goes undrafted and doesn't get a FA deal, he's the pick. Bold prediction, I know.

What's the saying, Canadians wants 1970's social programs but 1950's taxation levels, while making 2010's level incomes?

No, that is the answer to the question, who should replace Chris Jones as Head Coach and GM in Saskatchewan.

Pinball would be good. I'd be in favour of anybody that promises to ban Rod Black from commentating on any game.

Does Odell have any friends in any locker room that he's played in? Seems abrasive.

Decent point about Hervey's drafting, not too many names stand out yet. Compare that to Gossen/Chung/Loffler, ie three starters for Walters plus Corney, Couture as rotational guys.

What kind of idiot thinks that CFL teams address the QB spot in the draft?

Gray would be great. I'd also be happy with Vandervort, Beher, Luke, Bladezk or Mulumba in round 1, not that what I think matters. Except my deeply held belief that the Riders suck! That one is always true.

So does every lousy QB who gets released get his own thread?

Can't see us taking Boating. Gray as a futures pick and then Beher/Luke/Mulumba at #6 makes more sense.

Hey, the World Cup was awesome when it was called the Canada Cup and the year was 1984 or 1987.

Most teams are in the same boat. I'd like to see more depth and suspect a guy like Gurley gets re-signed but not panicking.

Adams/Dressler/Dennmark/Stafford is a solid, experienced group.

Good luck to him. Hard to blame a guy in this situation. Hopefully it frees some $ up for elsewhere. Glad we still have Adams/Dressler/Denny/Stafford and hey, maybe this is the year we scout a quality import reciever.

First of all, I'm glad I don't have to make the decision. That said at this point, sort of hoping for Bladek and Luke.

Shomari Williams, Scott Mitchell, Tyson Pencer, Ameet Pall, Linden Gaydosh, Matt Sewell, Cory Watman say otherwise.

Hypothetical, what if the Bombers go Vandervoot at the #1 and Junior Luke at the 6 and wait on an OL?

Despite the fact he likely has NFL interest?

This is a really good group.

Newman hurts their st depth but it would be worse if it was Labatte or Muamba.

Nice of the Argos to throw the salary structure out of whack.

Even the Pro Bowl spots he had are deceptive, injury replacement both times. In 2009, he was like one of 7 or 8 AFC QBs named to a Pro Bowl.

So Vince Young has not taken a regular season snap since 2011, a preseason snap since 2013 and will be 34 at the start of the season. What could go wrong?
