So we've really looked at his physical gifts but is one of Nichols issues that he's not as mentally strong as other QBs. BLM or MR seem extremely confident and inclined to have a **** you attitude if people boo or are critical, while Matt seems to get really defensive and take it personally?

Anybody else feel like it could be an ugly night at IG Field Thursday. I mean if Nichols plays like he has and we lose to Calgary, I suspect the boo birds are going to be out in force. Yeah, so basically I feel like we are where we were last year.

I have to say I like the Montreal team. For Ottawa, Deadmon has been great but their QBs are awful.

I'd like to think that MOS will consider starting Streveler at some point but I really don't think so based on his history. Same with Lapo, same stuff going back to 2002, only difference is in 2002 we had Blink+Khari+Milt and they freelanced. Same issues with Hall.

Given the roster this week, I think Janke is the scratch. Seems like they are doing him a solid and giving him a game check. As for the receivers, I think Lawler is both the guy earning it with his play and they are seeing what he can do because hey, Adams is an FA next year.
