Did anybody check to see if Dickenson is ok after being done in by those Fing Canadians?

It's time to hand the ball to Streveler.

The bottom line is whether its Nichols or Lapo, something has to change. We need to begin to have more of an intermediate passing game. We need to make better use of the receivers we have. -
Well we are currently 3-0 versus the West so to borrow from Caddyshack, We have that going for us.

As others have said, I'd like to see Streveler come in for a series or two when the O is struggling (happens every game) and in the redzone. I mean that play on 2nd and 3 from the 3 late where Nichols runs, I feel Steveler gets a TD. -
So this Grant kid looked special last night. Sayles and Rose are playing well.
-
Lapo did call a really conservative offensive game. Having said that though, Nichols didn't play well and you have to be concerned by his play.

He threw a lousy ball to Matthews, that one is on #15. Same with the throw to Woli when we needed a 1st down.Let's just say his play is not inspiring confidence. -

Hopefully we get some pressure on Arbuckle and cause some turnovers. Conversely we need to play a clean game. Calgary has gotten a lot out of their D and STs. Offense honestly not so much.

I like what Walters/Miller and MOS have done. Not a fan of either our OC or our DC and feel both need to be upgraded. I will also say that MOS and the staff as a whole don't seem to handle in game adjustments well.

I'm not going to lie, this is one of the reasons I picked the Als. Evans being out was another (although he's been boom or bust this year).
-
Riders missing most of their DL tomorrow. Leonard on the 6. Evans is too I believe and Johnson is also out. Could be interesting.
-
ST are going to play a big part in the outcome imo. We need to get some good returns and limit Calgary. Calgary has really only given up explosion plays on ST (so they can be vulnerable) and has gotten some big ones themselves (Terry Williams).

I don't see it making the Riders better. Willy likely does not resign there as they still had a healthy Durant coming off leading them to a Grey Cup. Glenn remains a Redblack. Willy may have gone to BC or Montreal. I think Burris would have made us better. Better QB even in 2014 than Willy ever was.

Jeffcoat on the 6. That just sucks. -

Would anybody else actually like to know what the heck is up with Neufeld? How about anything on Jeffcoat? -
Zach Evans to the 6 game IR. So what's the play for the Riders, starting a NI LB? Bouka on the corner?

Its not just the US scouting which is as others have said is the best in the CFL, its how they prepare their players. Flat out they just get them reps and opportunities that other teams don't. Marshall Ferguson was on 1290 earlier this year and discussed his team in Calgary's camp under the whole send a CIS QB to a CFL training camp program. He mentioned how he got reps in camp and was quizzed in meetings just like everybody else, experiences that he said other CIS QBs never get with this program. You think about that and then it makes sense that their QBs always look good, they've been able to start a number of backs the past few years that have had success and on and on down the line.
