2022 CFL Free Agency(Rumors/official signings)
On offense: 4 OL starters QB 3 WR starters so 8 out of 12 on offense 3 DL starters 2 linebacker starters 3 in the secondary so 8 out of 12 starters 16 out of 24 starters from last year is pretty good for a team coming off back to back cups.

BC's strategy of $ everywhere else and then cheap Canadian QBs is interesting.

I agree that we seem to be lacking a true #1 but I think its fair to call Ellingston, Demski and Bailey #2 WR. Does 3 #2's make a balanced enough core that it still works? I lean towards yes.

Sankey and Moncrief are good signing for the Green guys. Not sure how they fit with Dean and Teitz. 3-4?

Just for fun, I am going to say I hope we see an Ellingston signing and the signing of a defender who is a surprise but in a we got that dude too way.

Ellingston+Demski+Woli+Bailey and then hopefully a youngster who emerges might just work. I'd like to see a back up QB other than Dru Brown.

300 k for Lawler is insane. Going to be hard for him to live up to it but good for him. So Jones's plan is to come in, ruin the salary structure of the CFL, have the team suck and bolt?

We should tell C.Jones that Ali is a great DB/WR prospect.

Brady at 100K is a good deal. Wonder if JA was similar?

You know who has done well this off season? Ottawa. Masoli, Acklin, Boatang, Williams are all nice adds.

My head understands the logic in maybe going with JA+BO and moving on from Harris but my heart is sad. Also surprised they seem to be moving on from Darvin.

I am actually surpirsed with Oliveria. Did the club chose him over JA? Is he asking for too much $? Am I just panicking?

Canadian Politics
Oh I think Pierre gets chosen as leader and I can see some positives too, I'm just not sure I see somebody who ends of winning over centrist voters in Ontario and Quebec. I truly believe support of the convoy protesters is going to really hurt politicians comes the next election and embracing the Republican party and its tactics will also hurt. (See I am running for Prime Minister. Grade 5 social studies, Canadians do not directly elect the Prime Minister so you can't run for the job).

Me too, wonder who is making Brady an offer and really hope we sign him.

So while I am also curious what is going on with Brady O, been thinking about Andrew Harris. Is it possible that no other team gives him a big $ offer and he returns to Winnipeg on a reduced deal? Calgary has Carey, Edmonton has Wilder, Hamilton Jackson, Montreal has Stanback, Ottawa has Powell. Will any of BC, Toronto or Saskatchewan make a big offer?
