My wife and kids had it. We all stayed home but I couldn't really isolate from them....I didn't get sick and never tested positive...? It's a weird thing this covid.

I'm guessing Monday is out of the question now

yeah, keep in mind it won't be a scene for scene adaptation...if I'm even right...marvel hasn't said anything about secret wars coming to film...but it's rumored to be part of the next wave of marvel movies.

A bunch of good guys and a bunch of bad guys get transported to another dimension/planet/universe (I can't remember where exactly) to fight it out. They get transported there by a being called Beyonder.

I stopped drinking pop a while back as it gave me heart burn. But there was a time (high school days) where I would drink 3 cans of coke in 3 hours. Like I said I eventually had to stop drinking it, then I learned they add a chemical to it so you don't immediately puke due to the amount of sugar they add. Which just seems insane to me! I'll still have some when I want a rye/rum and coke, but it's always a press. And now because we don't really ever buy it, my kids consider it a nice treat/dessert. Which I think is a much better relationship with the stuff compared to how I used it back in the day. I remember my son asking to have some "pop" instead of ice cream one night after dinner, which I thought was funny because I used to have pop with dinner and dessert as well.

I was the opposite on the Spider-man movies. Far from home dragged on for me, but I loved No way home. As for the multiverse stuff in these movies I believe they are looking to eventually work in the Secret Wars plot from Marvel comics. Oh and yeah Eternals is exactly as bad as it looks. I tried watching it a few times and always fell asleep.

I'll never forget his 1st game as a bomber. Looked like an absolute monster out there

That's a weird comparison to make though. Yes I'm sure a star receiver will have more jerseys sold than a back up LB or OL... Hell there's probably more Lucky Jerseys than there are Stanley Bryant jerseys. Comparing starters to starters ideally in the same position would be a better idea. And I'd bet for the most part that comparison would back fire on you.

I'm wondering if these negotiations are having an impact on these young players deciding to move on? Obviously with Foster, TO is going CDN at his spot...but there's no reason be couldn't catch on somewhere else (Ssk). He was an exciting player to watch and it too bad he's walking away. But that's 3 relatively young players all walking away within 1 week. CBA leaving too much up in the air??

I didn't watch it and I haven't seen any clips. But this is basically most peoples take on it. Must have been quite the show.

Fairly sure he was doin ok pre pandemic

I had at least one buddy who is more conspiracy minded then the rest, and he constantly used the changing science as proof of a conspiracy/public health not knowing what is going on. It's actually pretty common now for people to not understand what the scientific process means/is.

Do we need proof?

I would actually become a Trudeau fan if he came out to a press conference and said something like "They can worry about the F word all they want, I got more important **** to do."

Just to complicate things a bit. As far as I know Rogan never lied/spread misinformation. He said he got covid, went to his doctor who prescribed many medications including ivermectin and then he got better. I don't believe he ever claimed ivermectin made him better. (Though I could be wrong about that) So this is where things get very cloudy. Yes by default he's basically implying ivermectin helped him beat covid....but he never actually says it. So how do you punish someone for the way his words could be interpreted?
-
People know that ivermectin is more than just a horse dewormer right? Like there's actual human version/uses for it...I just keep seeing it described as only a horse dewormer and that isn't the whole story. Obviously it does nothing for covid, but it's is a medicine that humans have used for decades now.

ok but again, that doesn't translate to country being the most listen to genre. It's just the most pushed. Hip hop etc is far more popular among kids/young adults. I mean they like country, but hip hop has been the leading culture maker for decades now. Which is why you see more and more country songs incorporating hip hop.
