  1. I'm getting sick of Dutchy go on and on about crider fans and their stadium
  2. Exactly, this is what I meant more than anything. TO is going to do what TO does. WPG is gonna do what WPG does. Maybe coaches come on boards from time to time etc...but when this thread was created, the game plans had been established for days. Us talking about anything, changes nothing for either team regardless of who sees what.
  3. Lol there isn't a coach on either team that is going to look at this site today....nevermind trying to implement some new game plan because of what they read here! Lol
  4. Credit to Pinball for saying that the game between the 2 teams earlier this year doesnt mean anything, saying the game got out of hand early and the Bombers let their foot off the gas. Also lol at TSN. Lapo did a segment with a youth team explaining a certain type of run play and like mid way through you could just see a couple finger tips on the screen. Lol. I'm assuming it was filmed on a cell phone...but like damn, how are you just letting that go? TSN just constantly putting their best foot forward when it comes to showcasing the CFL!
  5. I agree that he hasn't earned it. But I still think BC puts him up there.
  6. He'll be the highest paid player in the league.
  7. I've been saying for a while nownthat I thought there would be a decent amount of empty seats. There's a bunch of tickets for sale and they don't look like they're selling. As bad as that would look, I would hope it signals to the CFL that Regina shouldn't be hosting Grey Cups. Not as often as they have anyways.
  8. I'm rewatxhing the 2019 grey cup. And just finished the drive where Brandon Banks gets the ball too many times lol
  9. Harris comes out of the tunnel after halftime in a Bomber uniform
  10. Its likely just not something that can happen. The CFL can't just decide to give there broadcasters competition a game every week. Part of their deal (i'm assuming) is that TSN has the exclusive rights to the CFL. In 2026 they'll likely look at options. But until then anyone who thought that could happen was dreaming imo. It was honestly just a weird question to ask even.
  11. And I'd bet a lot of Money, Washington drafts a QB this off season.
  12. Was it on here that someone broke down Rourkes first 9 games and compared them to Zachs last nine? I swear I saw that some where...but I can't seem to find it now
  13. Has nothing to do with talent. Starting qbs will basically only be draftees from here on forward. Teams want that big name kid. More political than anything.
  14. Yeah thats a risk. But I'd say there's way more examples where it works out exactly as planned that we just never hear about.
  15. Lol I'm just kidding. I know Bomberfan85 personally and he's a solid dude.
  16. If I were grading your paper you would receive an F. I honestly thought you'd have a legitimate source lol. I'm not saying it didn't happen. But if this situation was reversed, there's not a chance in hell you'd accept "twitter" as a source. I mean, at the very least name the account. Ideally you'd share the actual tweet. Honest question. What's stopping BC and Rourke from having a gentleman's agreement in place. BC cuts Rourke making him a FA. Only to turn around and re-sign him for a regular contract?
  17. There's no guarantees in football. His next snap in the CFL could be his last. There's also no loyalty. If he sucks next year you think BC is going to hold on to him because they're loyal? You think anyone in BCs management team is saying he should drop the NFL because BC gave him an opportunity? When it comes to the amount of wealth he has an chance to make, you take it. It is quite literally once in a lifetime. That's the rush. He may never get another NFL look again but you think he should ignore them so he can look like he's a nice guy? Lol. This is business. Not summer camp.
  18. Completely disagree. He may only ever play 1 more down of football. He has the opportunity (slim as it may be) to provide generational wealthy for his family. There's no guarantee of success next year in the CFL. There is a guarantee of at least a dozen NFL teams having interest right now. You don't deny yourself that opportunity for any reason. It would be absolutely idiotic of him to say "no thanks, I'm going to go risk my health for a couple hundred thousand instead of potentially making millions." I dont think he will ever be a NFL starter or even a backup...but like I said, he'd be absolutely dumb to turn down the opportunity to try and become one.
  19. Oh I know. My point is that the "option year" in drafted players isn't there for that purpose. Because it's literally always a possibility with every player.
  20. That's literally an option in every contract for every player lol. As in, player in 1st year of a 2 yr contract, goes to GM and says, I wanna renegotiate my contract...GM says, no thanks....player 100% has the choice (or option) to say fine...im not going to play. GM says fine...enjoying sitting for the last year of your contract.
  21. Tburg is wrong. I know he's assuming he's correct about that entire CBA thing. But he isn't AND Rourke will be offered min 500k next year. If he wants to get paid, sitting on the PR isn't the place to be.
