  1. My thoughts exactly. Willy doesn't hurt his knee that game, it's only a matter of time before he's hurt during another game. Thankfully he didn't come back this season and let MB have another chance at ruining his career. I hope come Monday, MB is no longer apart of this team.
  2. What happened to the WR Cone??
  3. I think Westerman has a good chance at the MOC and Bass at the ROY.
  4. Not sure what you're getting at exactly. But I would take Bowman over Moore no questions asked. Not Owens though.
  5. Yeah but they still have Anderson and Tunei (spelling?) soooo I'm sure those guys will make a play at some point....
  6. That says more about the quality of our receiving corps behind Moore than a compliment to Moore. I would say that the lack of production overall this year by the receivers is more due to the lack of a quality OC and having to use back-up QB's for most of the season. If you were to extrapolate Moore’s numbers for a full 18 games, he would have close to 1100 yards for the season. That would be good enough for 6th overall in the CFL. Moore is not worth the money he is currently getting, but to say that he is not a #1 receiver is just not accurate. Does he deserve #1 money in spite of the fact that he gets injured way too often? That’s another question all together. But I am sure that in his mind and his agents mind, the answer would be yes. Agreed, I don't see anything terribly wrong with the Bombers receivers or RB's, the problems lie elsewhere in the Bombers O. I don't really agree. I think we see better production out of RB and Rec under a new OC. But I still think we are too small and too slow in the REC category. Sure Denmark and Moore have wheels. But they aren't running anyone over. Not a knock on Denmark. I really am a fan of his, but he needs a better team around him to be more successful.
  7. Moore just isn't built for the inside slot position, he's all spaghetti arms and legs, will never stay healthy in there. Yup, and more often then not he isn't willing to put his head down to get that extra yard. I saw him run out of bounds/go down way too many times this year.
  8. I would if the price is right. And under the assumption he knows he's the back up and the back up only.
  9. I'd like to see Newman - simple cause he's canadian Nichols Randle Washington Shell At least until we find someone to replace him Daniels Pointbriand Marshall
  10. Well at least I know I won't miss anything while I'm waiting for beer.
  11. Scary thing is that before Willy was permanently knocked out for the season he suffered two other serious injuries that took him out of games. His ratio of complete games vs. incomplete for this year wasn't even 2:1. Bombers are now walking in Sask's shoes, living and dying with a QB that can not be properly protected or kept healthy enough to contribute to a winning record. It's imperative that Willy's future replacement be present and productive at next years TC. Edm, BC and Mtl all found replacement QB's in first year players this season, next year the Bombers have to do exactly the same. No time left for a 2-3 year development period, the demand is now, now, now. I'm curious to see who is available come Free agency. As I don't have much hope in our Scouts to find what I think we really need. As in another Starting CDN lineman either side of the ball I don't care. And at least one stud big ******* WR. Enough of the small speedsters. I want a 6'3 monster who is going to run over DBs. Also wondering what is up with Anderson (RB), I think we released him right? Wonder if he comes back next year?
  12. Stupid kevin glenns arm!
  13. Step off the ledge man. It's not worth it.
  14. The problem with this list is we realistically don't know the answer to a lot of them.... sure we can guess... but it likely won't be accurate... Even though I don't know for sure, I have formed an opinion that is likely to be very accurate. I think he's been exposed as a terrible head coach but there's no need to embarrass the poor guy any further. He's had a very rough year. I am sure he has learned a lot these past two seasons. He's got one year left. Let's see if he can put it all together next year. What do you think? Can he? All the available evidence says "no." Even with a new OC? Even with some new players? Even with 2 years under his belt? Those all exist as possibilities and may or may not come to pass. It is even possible, although horrifying to consider, that Bellefeuille could be here next year, so it could actually get worse. All we have to go on is the track record, and that does not inspire confidence. Consider how bad the DC was last year and how long it took to replace him, and the same situation this year with the STC and OC. Hall didn't become available to replace Etcheverry until the off-season last year and we made the move. If an OC becomes available this off-season I suspect we'll make the move. O'Shea refused to throw Etch, Tracey, or MB under the bus and I respect him for that. I love that he's good with the players and doesn't berate anyone in public. The important thing is the changes were made. Same with players. What I don't know is whether or not O'Shea will be replaced if a HC becomes available. We could build a dynamite team around O'Shea and still flounder if he doesn't put it together next year. A coach like Cory Chamblin has shown that he can win it all with the right team. I'm not sure O'Shea can. I'm not sure that he has the acumen to do it as a head coach. I'd bet a months salary we won't be waiting for an OC to become available this off season. MB is done. He will not be back next year.
  15. I like how aggressive he has become on ST. And I'm hoping that carries on next year on the other teams. I'm not sure I've seen a team try as many fakes as we have on ST in such a short amount of time. And it's hard to notice positives when he's doing them, cause chances are you won't notice. Also doesn't help that we are a horrible team.
  16. com'n Doc...give it a rest! I think he makes a pretty good point. EDM looks like they are set to be a contender for a few years. WPG, not so much.
  17. I only want to comment on two... First one... you're ageing yourself with this comment about shaving... I can just imagine when you see Waggonner, Newman or Shell... "get a haircut you hippies!" Second one... don't you think there might be a correlation between us releasing a player and him signing on an NFL squad? Yeah, I'm not a fan of the scruffy, unkempt look for sure but I don't hold the players to the same standard as the coach. Hate the dreds on Stoudermire! Hated them on Suber too when he was here. But I do believe your head coach represents your team. I like the Tom Landry clean-cut look. If my coach looks like he cares about his appearance then that is likely to rub off on the players. If my coach is prepared that also tends to rub off on the players. If the coach looks like a disheveled bum, well ... Tell me more about the "second one". If we release a player, and he gets picked up by an NFL squad. Chances are we released him so he could get picked up by an NFL squad. As in, he was aware (or his agent at least) of the NFL as a possibility, so asked if he could go and try to catch on. Being the NFL, the salary alone makes it worth the shot. And if we say no, that's a huge Dbag move to make and likely something that other players will hear about and remember. I see. Thanks for that. So that's likely to be what happened then? Chances are yes. Though there can be an arguement for a player just not being right for the CFL, but fitting in well for an NFL system. Different skill sets etc etc. But I'm willing to bet that he knew a team was interested and wanted to take a shot.
  18. I don't know. There have been a lot of punts out the endzone this year. Not sure this is worth "fixing"

  20. I'm not sure the lists people will make will hold much water. Considering we don't really know what has been his decision or not, except for a few choices during the games. I'll take a shot though. Wrong - Surrounding himself with losers. Literally - MB and Etch aren't winners and picking them (assuming he did) and now keeping one (assuming it was his choice) have been huge mistakes. Right - I like what he has shown in the last couple of weeks. His ST scheme has been working much better. And I personally like the way he handles the media. I think he could have a bright future as a HC, in WPG? Maybe, but I think he will succeed in the future due to the fact players like playing for him.
  21. Bucknor is starting. Thats weakness. Getting a legit canadian safety back could allieviate that problem. maybe thats what we are angling for.. We know Bucknor was exposed a lot this season. Waggoner and Newman or Morgan i assume are all potential Safety prospects while Jones I think is a Bucknor 2.0 I'd like to see an all Import secondary. None of the guys you listed (though still unproven) give me anything to hope for, except maybe Waggoner. I hope we sign another CND onlinemen this off season (don't know who is available) and hopefully a solid Dlinemen - Steele anyone? I know he wants to play here. We just need to get it done! Must not want to play here that bad since he signed an extension that'll keep him in Edmonton through 2017 about a week & a half ago. Really? Damn I didn't see that. Well I guess he's happy. I know for a fact he tried to get here but at the time Management wasn't having it, and to be fair his play at that time wasn't what it is today.

  23. We need to win two....in a ROW....welcome to the playoffs MTL
  24. Just being a good team player, trying to stay positive. I wouldn't have expected anything less from one of our guys, especially Vega. Yeah I know. But it's like, come on man....everyone knows those are horrible, don't try to act like you like them. I laughed when I read his comments and I wanted to take him aside and explain that he would be better off not lecturing people who have been following this team for their entire lives who "we" are. exactly! Shouldn't your name be Bigblue&gold204 then. lol...well I suppose this is true.
