I didn't write off durain't cause of his injuries...though that helped. I've never thought of him as a great qb. I feel he may be one of the more over rated players.

yes every other team was able to move the ball with a 2nd string qb. But only one team had the misfortune of running the system we ran. As much as the talent of our team effected outcomes. Our system played a larger roll.

Yup, it's been reported here plenty by posters who go to practice to actually watch. I've also seen it first hand, standing around not even looking at the field. That's why during TC it's best to come here for information. Most of the time the media doesn't do a good enough job. I will say it's likely not that great for the average fan to not get the media coverage all the time. But at the same time, is it any better to the average fan if the reports are all bland and basically crap??

Sorry, but you don't get to be the leading receiver in the league by just "padding your stats". The guy has become a game changer that you must account for. Not giving him the credit he deserves for his play the last few years is ignorant at best. Yup, he's drops the ball. But if you can be a top receiver even after all drops, what does it matter?

If our Offence improves slightly that will (going off this past season) be enough for a playoff spot alone. We were far off. And had we won a couple of the games we lost by just a few points. We make the playoffs.

I'm not so sure. I'm guessing Thorpe isn't too happy with being passed over for the HC job a few times now. I know I wouldn't want a disgruntled D coordinator on my staff. Especially with the offence the ALs have right now. Wouldn't be surprised to Hear Thorpe is getting fired in the next few days

how about Kyle Walters just does what every other GM in the league can do and find some pass catchers on his own from the states? There's only about a million of them down there. If they are that easy to find EVERY NFL team would have "perfect" pass catchers. Most NFL worth their weight have at least one star receiver who can be dominate. The same goes for CFL teams. Arcenaux (spelling?) Walker, Rogers, Roosevelt (SSK? I think that's his name) TO has a plethora along with Ott/Ham. Maybe the only two teams that don't are Montreal and WPG.

John Murphy's contract is up with the Stamps and he applied for GM job with the riders so we didn't exactly pull him away from the stamps. 400k is more than a head coach makes so highly doubt that number unless u can provide a link or proof. Even though Murphy wasn't hired as GM he has received a promotion here. As far as Jones at 600k, that's a great price for a coach/gm combo probably far less than the bombers are currently paying their 2 people in those positions. O'Day may be at 250k, likely going rate for a AGM. As far as Taman/ Chamblin, coaches get fired all the time and contracts have to be paid, how much did bombers pay Lapo to sit at home?? I think you're out of your mind if you think 600,00 is far less than what the BB are paying oshea and Walters. I'd be surprised it was more.
