I'd be perfectly fine with Bucknor starting over Nuef....Bucknor while not always a shut down DB has proven he can make the plays when he has too. And It wouldn't need to be just JFG, we also have Waggoner, Corney, Richards...all 3 are expected to be in the mix this year. Despite what Ripper says. Our Depth is much better than the riders. Don't let his green coloured glasses fool you. I'm not saying we have 15 starting calibre CND's either. so don't get your panties in a bunch. But our Depth goes well beyond Hurl, Bucknor and JFG.

I saw that, and was wondering how much that guy must have been drinking. They have plenty of depth, I don't see how that depth has improved over last year let alone "being the best it's been in some time". That's just a ridiculous statement.

We do have solid depth now, that's what we are saying. Just cause you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not there. It might not be starter for starter depth...but what team has that for all 7 NIs?

First, Richards (though barely) Thomas, Sherman, Waggoner are not rookies. And Hurl and Bucknor were both playing for the 2 wins against ssk last year.

Don't forget Richards as a potential. Or sherman, or Thomas if we must. For the first time in a long time, we have plenty of options on the CND side of things.

That would be a nice starting 5, but fuller and dressler have missed a good chunk of time due to injuries.

I'd be ok with starting Bucknor on wide side. But it's a question of who gives you more value when their on the bench, Kholert or Bucknor....An american playing Wide side corner, or an american playing wideside rec. For me, I'd like a bigger body at wide side receiver. So that means bucknor starting, but will that reduce the talent on Defence more than what is gained on Offence? There's lots to consider this year.

you are correct. But it also takes time to get the recruits that you want to come in. That and the most important depth you can have is CND depth. Which we have developed over the past few seasons. Not were I would like it to be yet, but it's certainly way better than 3 years ago.
