  1. 12 yards to get the ball back?? That's seems a bit too easy. I don't mind this rule, but should have been at least 15.
  2. After next season? Who gives a **** about 2020? Its 2019. Bighill is the reigning MODP and you'd rather have someone else cause he might not be good in a few years? Lol...that honestly just doesnt sense.
  3. Honestly never even considered this. But might not be a bad pick up. Another big mauler type, and gives Gray/Spooner some more time to develop.
  4. Now that I think about it, that is likely a damn near certainty considering how "fortunate" the argos are at grabbing big name players via FA or trade.
  5. I agree with all of this except for the Roosevelt. Injury and age along with his likely fairly large $$$ make me hesitant he would be worth it. Burnham absolutely, if not Walker.
  6. Good, maybe you'll stop asking questions you know damn well no one here has the answers to.
  7. I don't know. You should ask the CFLPA why they suggested starting in March. If they were unhappy with the lack of negotiations, the CFLPA would be in the media saying so. The only thing they've said so far is they would like to start in March.
  8. Exactly. Nothing has changed in terms of what the league can bring to the table when it comes to $$$. The players will not be getting a huge raise...they likely know this as well. The fact that the CFLPA are the ones suggesting to start AFTER free agency speaks volumes about what they are expecting if you ask me. It'll be a fairly quick negotiation.
  9. If TO got that amount, the CFL might consider a 2nd franchise in the big smoke.
  10. Stadium deals has nothing to do with the commish. And I don't know, maybe it's just me. But typically when I think of "progressive" my mind goes to things that are rather new or haven't been tried before. Not doing very similar things the league and other commissioners have tried multiple times with varying degrees of success.
  11. @jamienye .@CFLPA has expressed to the league indicating they want to begin negotiations in early March on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. #CFL Thanks odd. Considering the insiders on this site that keep saying it's the commishs world wide adventure that has stopped the negotiations from taking place...hhhmm..
  12. I'm fairly sure Randle was moved out to make room for Bighill and Jeffcoat.
  13. Interesting about Jefferson. But call me skeptical the bombers have enough $ to sign him and a big name Rec. I'm wondering if the FA receivers are waiting to see how the QB situation plays out before they sign. Burnham would have a big year if he lands on the same team as Reilly or Bo.
  14. Randles post/thank you to MOS really drives home the relationship aspect that takes place between MOS and the players. How many times have you seen a player discuss a HC like that AFTER they were cut? I don't think I've ever seen it before.
  15. Yes, and I need to get a substantial raise. Unfortunately for my business much like the CFL, we need to make more money. You can't just give people raises when the money isn't there.
  16. Couture has been around long enough. Might be some drop in talent, but shouldn't have an issue gelling
  17. To bad for Faith, I'm assuming (big time) that he isn't recovering well from that injury. Wouldn't be surprised if this is the last we hear from him. Burnett is likely done as well.
  18. I think the only team that will be willing to pay roosevelt will be Ssk. Too many concussions for anyone to pay big $.
  19. This and the fact that they may have already moved on from Dressler.
  20. You're remembering it wrong. Chamberlin broke the terms of the contract and dickenson was well within his rights to fight back. Dickenson is a genius.
  21. Makes sense. And I'm glad the BB only need to see him 2 maybe 3 times.
