I honestly can't believe a league that is suffering financially both before and during the global pandemic, would be so eager to push a viable and potentially league saving venture like betting...I mean, under what circumstances could that be acceptable?

Riders Oline looked way better than I thought it would. Especially with a rookie LT. Now....is that due to lack of talent in the DL? Let's not pretend that Hamiltons DL is good right now....especially since there was no Wynn. Will be interesting to see what it's like against one of the better teams.

Don't forget that Adams and Collaros where a force during the playoffs.

Riders Oline played way better than expected. But against a beat up Dline. Hamilton is who I thought they were, a soft team. Bring the lumber and make them think about those foot steps and they fold. Also holy hell, I've never see a Dline have such a hard time with the 1 yard rule lol. I couldn't believe they took ANOTHER penalty on it when Masoli scored....like what are you not understanding??? 1 yard off the ball, don't go past the goal line! Lol. Was humorous to watch that's forsure.

It's not that speed isn't important. It's that it's not the hardest thing to defend. Which is why the great rec stay great when their speed starts to slow down. And players who can't run good routes or have questionable hands but loads of speed don't last.

Rogers took a hit on the last play of the 1st q, and was wobbly as all hell....watching it live, he barely got to his knee without falling over. But was left in the game. The ref was right there too. I just don't understand how that was able to happen.

I agree about Lucky to a certain extent. He was misused here for the most part. But the things he excels at aren't that hard to shut down. I don't expect him to keep this pace up, but I am rooting that he does! Just not against the Bombers.

Injured or not, some of Bo's decisions last night were baffling. One interception had at least 4 defenders around it. His ball does seem to lack some zip too, but it's his reading of the Defense that has been the major issue. It completely sucked last night.

plus 2 (maybe 3) big $ rec. Judge/muamba/willis/hughes can't be cheap on D. Plus two QBs making decent $ anyway. And I wouldn't call that Oline cheap. The 3 interior aren't making the min that's forsure.

They just added Ray to the 6 game cause Defensive Ends definitely need healthy fingers to play...no for real, they added him to the 6 game because he has a finger injury....he's a Defensive end. So using the 6 game is one strategy they're using.

Man TO's Rec coor looks solid...hopefully our young guys can step up and the DL gets lots of pressure.

I was less impressed by Nelson. He had more opportunities than Bailey and basically did nothing. Admittedly the play calls to him/execution of the blocking was fairly bad too.

On that INT. It's on both players. The pass was low and behind making it a much harder catch than it should have been. But the rec also got both hands on the ball and should have been able to pull it in.

That's just not factual. I'm not a big fan of Nichols after 2017 myself. But you make it sound like he was Brohm out there. In 2019 he was top of the pack when it came to deep ball completions and was playing at a high level. I was honestly blown away with that kick. Dude has a rocket for a leg! Good thing his accuracy is brutal.

If you look back at his career, he is usually gone from the organization by the time the line is playing like it should. And thats not at all a shot at him. Just the reality of football, it can take a year or two before olines gel. Ottawas oline will be good, likely not this year though. That was like Wilder last night. Final drive he makes a solid play and gets hit out of bounds...team is still losing...gets up and poses like he did something special and then has to hustle back to the huddle...and we all know the outcome. Just thought it looked real dumb on his part.

Ssk vs bc....was not what I was expecting, but not hard to believe it happened either. The home advantage is real in Regina and playing against a pure rookie....inwouldnt be too excited about that W considering how it played out. Ssk vs Ham will be interesting to see which rider team shows up. Also....thought the qb situation with the lions was fairly bush league looking. In the end it was the right call I guess...as it turn the momentum To vs cgy....this one played out basically how I thought it would. Cgys new players showed some flashes but they will need time to gel and in a short season that might be an issue. Edm vs ott....who saw Ott winning this? Lol. Wow both offenses look bad. Edm is more of the same with Harris...stats but no points. Nichols and Flanders had better figure out time travel cause neither looked like they belonged on the field. Especially Flanders imo. Looked out of shape and seemed slow. Nichols arm strength looks questionable to say the least. Bordering on Micheal Reilly bad.

He does play by like he's talking to someone who has never seen a football game....and he been making the same.mistakes for over a decade. It's time to move on. Also while I was at the game I kept seeing the drone they used for the over head shots. Great idea. I legit thought it must have been someone just messing around, cause there's no way TSN would be that innovative. Happy to be proven wrong.
