Pushing 30 doesn't mean anything. A lot of WR's in the CFL hit their prime around 30. Doubt the Riders will be disappointed starting Taj Smith, Geroy, Getzlaf, and Bagg, with some new import taking the last job; and Etienne, Sisco, and McHenry filling out the backup slots. How does it not mean anything? If Bagg goes down with another injury your left with one decent NI. How many years left does Getzlaf and Simon have left? They don't have much for Canadian depth. Etienne could be good but no one knows and sisco is terrible. All I am trying to say is Taman would be an idiot to at least not try and get an offer to Kohlert. I still see him signing in Winnipeg but likely for more then that wanted to offer him.

I know Hargreaves is slow which is why I feel Sask might make an offer to Kohlert.

Bagg is a Band-Aid and Getzlaf is pushing 30. They have McHenery, Etienne, Sisco, Thompson, Hargreaves and Anthony. Not really an impressive group of receivers. I just wouldn't be surprised if Sask at least puts an offer on the table and maybe makes the Bombers pay a little more.

I have a feeling Sask might scoop him up. He's from there and they need Canadian receivers. I sure hope we can re-sign him though!!

+1 on the parking / concessions rants. Granted, the team's performance down the stretch had a great deal to do with managing some of the congestion but honestly .. the organization responded to the problems well .. anyone who thought we'd come out of the gate, problem free was very sorely mistaken .. and I'd suggest their expectations were out of wack. I'm on about the 30ish yard line now (Section 105), Row 11 .. and the seats are pretty damn good .. If I could .. I'd move closer to the 55 .. maybe a few rows up from where I am now .. but I honestly don't have many complaints about my seats. I agree with the performance but even by Banjo Bowl and a packed house I found the trip in out and concessions were fine. Sure they can still do a few things to improve but overall they responded well. Funny thing about the cracking though. I was at the Iceplex on Friday and noticed the floors in the stands as well as upper viewing areas were cracked all over the place yet because it's Jets related no one in the media or even fans seem to think this is a problem. Why is that?

Speaking of IGF. I find it funny how so many people over reacted on things like parking, busses, cracking, place falling apart etc. After the pre season game hearing everyone on the way back saying they were never going to another game because it was so bad yet after 3-4 weeks they had time to iron things out things drastically improved. Shows ya that people need to be more patient in this city Best seats? Anything upper deck first couple rows I agree. We are first row around the endzone and love them.

Speaking of signings......they have 9 days to announce the remainder of the coaching staff. Why all the suspense!! Yes I know they are down in Florida...yadyad.....but come on!!

Gary seems to have held quite a few roles in different areas and for many teams. He has experience (wether it being sucessful or not) and with the group of rookies we have maybe it's a good thing to bring in some experience. I'll hold judgement on him until Labour Day and will evaluate him then

Thats what I thought also. Bringing in guys who have experience in a few different roles might be a good thing but might also cause conflict as to who should be doing what role. Examples - MB being the OC but has past HC exp, O'shea being HC but has past ST exp, Tracey being ST but having DC exp etc.

Please do. Buzz and Boomer have really underperformed the last few years. And Bella... let's not get into that disaster... Guess we need a Mascot coach as well then?
