  1. I don't think the o-line is fully to blame... on those deep balls he has time. It's the arm and decision making that is really hurting his play. If he's going to make random decisions and just toss "bombs" in hopes of the receiver making a play... I'd much rather we had kept Dolegala because at least he is healthy and has a strong enough arm so that the receiver "can" make a play for the ball. Their is a reason why noodle arm Nichols was doing short passes at the end... he knew his limitations and tried the best with what he could do. Zach is just ... yikes. His arm is not as shot as Nichols was... but it's definitely not strong enough for him to make those bombs. It would have been real nice to have given Wilson some game time this season to see if he has what it takes to play. Next season... try to make a play for Kelly or bring in a guy like MBT as a stop gap until we find a long term solution. Zach at 600+ next season is going to really hurt this team.
  2. I'm ok with Hamilton going on a streak and winning it all. It would be nice for the community to finally get a win after all these years.
  3. I added the arrow to show where the ball dropped... that ball was at least 8 - 10 yards under thrown.
  4. I know I shouldn't but I'm already looking ahead for next season (with the assumption that this season is a write off). I'm going to assume next season Hogan is gone and we either bring in someone from the outside or Jarious is promoted. I'm done with Zach being our QB, we are stuck with a huge contract next season and I can't believe he will improve after 2 terrible seasons in a row. Strev also isn't the answer. With all that being said... if possible would you straight up trade Zach for Chad Kelly? Coming off an injury, the off field issues, and Toronto appears to have moved on from him. Outside of MBT , Tre Ford, and several fringe back ups... I don't see anyone that we could grab and start immediately. He's on his last year of his contract and a much higher upside then starting Zach for another season. Outside of complaining about him being a sex pest, I would think that's the best player we could get.
  5. Do you think for next season we bring back LaPo for round 3 (or is it 4 now?)
  6. It's better then taking a knee 😬
  7. All I know is that you don't have to pay a QB a huge contract to throw a ball into quadruple coverage and/or underthrow deep shots by 5 yards.....
  8. I'm guessing this team doesn't do fumble drills?
  9. I'm seeing the Wilson catch going viral on social media. So at least one positive thing from tonight
  10. The Riders squeaking by Toronto is a bad look.
  11. Boomers? The drive thru is always busy so I'm assuming they still sell lots of coffee?
  12. Has Jake Thomas been cut yet? Has he at least been demoted to 3rd string back up? Until then all whining is permitted.
  13. But they can't put cinnamon raisin , french toast, four cheese , blueberry , jalapeno, pretzel, etc... on top of a bagel. I'm going to assume you are much younger, but back in the early 90's you could go to Tim Horton and pick from a wide selection of freshly made (i.e. not flash frozen) donuts and pastries. Earlier in the year when I was in the States and we quickly stopped at a Dunkin donuts and they had like 30 different kinds of donuts. It was like a rainbow with so much variety.
  14. I don't understand how they still stay in business these days? The location near my house has depleted the donut/muffin/bagel selection down to the absolute bare minimum. Apparently double chocolate donuts are to niche these days for them to stock? The last time I went they said they stopped serving wedges and other food items after 5 pm. Now no soups and chili? What is on the menu these days outside of plain donuts, plain bagel, a few sandwiches and flat bread pizza which completely doesn't make sense? What a massive fall of grace from only 20 years ago.
  15. The old Jake Thomas running straight and being pushed to the ground technique works wonders!
  16. As a CFL fan I'd have zero interest in watching the Grey Cup champion vs some American UFL team. Nobody would care. The CFL could do American expansion like back in the day. The only benefit would be once the American teams fold , the stores would have rock bottom low prices on Winter jackets. I fondly remember seeing lots of cheap people wearing Gold Miners jackets around town.
  17. If the CFL were to merge with the UFL, it would be within 2 years that both leagues completely fold for good.
  18. https://www.tsn.ca/cfl/article/argos-shut-down-qb-arbuckle-for-season/ Arbuckle out for the rest of the season. The Argos are toast for this year.
  19. So what you are saying is that we need our o-line to gel (for once) , Zach to remain healthy and not force throws, fringe receivers to step up and play like starters, O'Shea to sit Thomas and use the roster properly and rotate guys on the d-line. the lbers to remain healthy, dbs to continue to press and guys like Houston to step up rather then revert back to getting burned. We need to pray that the terrible play on the O was not a result of Hogan playcalling and more so Zach + o-line issues. We need to hope that none of the key starters get hurt and then trotted out like Bighill was. We need to hope that the weather turns cold and miserable. We need to hope that other teams like Calgary continue to struggle. We need to make sure that we don't face a back up QB who for whatever reason will have the game of his life against us. And if all of this happens we might have a shot of winning it all?
  20. It's on par with his career. Roller coaster of highs and lows.
  21. I fondly remember burning my tongue and upper part of my mouth with a ridiculously lava hot chocolate during the Grey Cup back in the day. It was like 99% water with a 1% tinge of chocolate powder.
  22. Maybe we can suggest a promotion for Hogan ... RB HC for 2026
  23. A more honest update is that people are frustrated that this club has moved glacially slow in making the necessary changes that other clubs would have addressed immediately instead of waiting half a season and/or until a player gets injured. O'Shea saying "nothing wrong all is good" has made people believe that he is arrogant and stubborn and unwilling to admit that they made poor decisions and need to change. The lack of free agent signings and giving Zach a big contract for next season has soured the people on Walters. The roster management has been terrible and people are split on blaming O'Shea or Walters. Nobody can understand why Jake Thomas is starting and puzzled on why they have not attempted new players to see if they can create a spark. I don't think anyone wants either Walters/O'Shea to be fired... just a kick in the pants and for them to stop sniffing their own farts and stop resting on pass success and do something. Everyone has agreed that the new OC Hogan needs to be fired ASAP.
  24. Sad to see a family owned business closing down. We need more of these and less American chain restaurants.....
  25. Wheatfall currently has more yards then Brazzell ever had with the Blue in his 3 seasons with us.
