So I'm working outside this morning when Wade Miller cruises by. I, decked out in Bomber gear, cheer and wave like the shameless fan boy I am. He stops and asks me if I have tix. I say I wish. An hour later Wade's assistant hand delivers me and my coworkers tix to tonight's game. What a cool frikken guy. Thank you Wade! Thank you Bombers! I know you just gained a few fans for sure. Can't wait to get to the stadium and lose my **** as always

I think that's basically what I said. "Nichols picks his runs with better vision." By that I mean he takes off at smart times. He also slides when it's the smart thing to do and lowers the shoulder when he has to. Buck lowered the shoulder 99% of the time. Gotta love him for it but he might have had a longer, healthier career if he would have picked his spots a bit better, too (only a specualtion). I do agree that Matt isn't the pure runner Buck the college track and field star was.

Reilly is pretty comfortable speaking into a mic. I bet he lands a gig at TSN one day. He might want to let them pick his attire though.

I like the Buck Pierce comparison. Nichols has that same grit and toughness. One big difference is I believe Nichols picks his runs with better vision and knows when to go down and when to go through. We wouldn't have won the Montreal game without his desperation scramble to the 2 yard line. Guts and brains. Roll in greater deep ball accuracy (receivers need to help out, too) and boom we are contenders.

Or the pass down the sidelines to Darvin Adams in the big comeback game? Still, we've all seen the spreadsheets that showed Nichols was among the least accurate QB's on throws over 20 yards I believe it was... if he cleans that up we will be throttling teams.

Yes, Singleton got 1 sack for sure, and another tackle wiped off the books for a bogus roughness penalty.

It's fair to say he didn't stop him enough, but Woods did absolutely stop him in his tracks and topple him backwards early on in the game. For all the good it did in the end...
