Down day by the defense. Maybe the offense can step up for a change?

With Demski out are they committed to having two Canadians on defense now? It seems they want to keep the firepower in the receiving corps

A microcosm of the return game was when there were 4 Argonauts in front of Nelson with zero Bombers to block for him. I wouldn't be putting it all on Nelson. I think we still have some work to do in our blocking.

So only 95% then haha. It's all good. Yeah I was more focusing on the consistency Andrew has of moving the pile and getting extra yards. Can be the difference of 5 or 6 yards VS 3 or 4 some games.

I wouldn't really care if they put the Riders first in power rankings. It really means nothing. They look like a good team. They have their own strengths and weaknesses just like we do. But its really hard to compare at this point.

Harris was basically our offense in the Grey Cup season. How many balls has Oliveira caught? I haven't seen Oliveira truck guys and push for yards like I've seen Andrew do it. A healthy Harris would be an upgrade over Oliveira, no doubt.

I don't doubt that's a big part of it. People treat gambling on sporting events like they are the ones making the plays on the field. I guess in that way it makes people feel more involved. But imo it takes away from the game itself, the culture and the human aspect. Or at least changes it significantly. From what I've watched so far I haven't noticed much during the game. But in the pre-game for one of the games they were giving the over-under on receiving yards for certain players and it felt dirty. It might just be me though

Bombers defence as stout as ever in the win against the Argos. But that was a tough game against a good team. For the rematch we may require some guys to get out of the infirmary.

O-line generally hasn't been giving him the same amount of time to throw as he's used to. And the defensive lines he's faced have done a great job of wrapping him up when he's scrambling.

Definitely cheering for Lucky but I feel he's going to burn us this year

Is that expression making a comeback? I've seen 3 people use it in the last week. Matt Nichols isn't really the kind of guy that lives in people's heads.

Im sure we have someone that can return in case of injury. Ex. Demski. Probably others. Having a backup returner that is at the same level as your primary returner is a luxury. I'd rather have a more impact receiver on the field for every offensive snap. That said it may be a moot point as Stewart still seems to be injured

Or possibly ArDarius Stewart with Nelson being primary returner

Speaking of long kicks. How about that 55 yarder from Bede? It looked like it could have gone for 70. Or was it just camera tricks?

Really depends on who gets healthy. Otherwise it'll be Nelson and Bailey again I'm sure. Not the end of the world. It was just one game.

Would be nice. Wolitarsky is a good blocker but he doesn't instill fear as an offensive weapon. Some packages with those three Canadians on the field could be real good
