    To those thinking Burke could have tackled the question of his staying better,

     

    WIECEK: So when do you find out if you've got the job?

    MILLER: My concern right now is doing what we need to do in the next month to six weeks because there's a lot that's going to happen unlike any other year.

     

    That's how he should have answered it.

     

    I think I like this Miller guy.

    I did a comparison of Lapos record and Burkes record in another thread, it's pretty easy to see from that that Burke has been as big a dud at head coach as this team has ever had. If the Bombers foolish retain Burke for another season I hope to go they are prepared for an empty stadium. year and a half of blowouts under Tim Burke is having even the diehards not caring about the team, that alone should be enough for them to boot Burke out as soon as the season is over. 

     

    Bear in mind this is Burke talking. I am having a hard time thinking anyone else in the organization is thinking this. I suspect Burke will be fired before he walks across the field for the last time.

    I have MTS, but I'm guessing it's free for everyone. Check it out tonight and see.

     

     

    I'm pretty sure it's free for anyone. On Shaw it's in the 350 range. Not sure I'm going to pay for it after the 19th, but it is nice for now.

     

    I would grab TSN-Jets if I could though.

    Having a tough time figuring out what Wpg would want for Hall. Darian & Willy are not going to happen, so what else do we look for this late in a lost season? Maybe a couple of picks but that is a crapshoot at best.

     

    I can see Sask wanting him and I can see him being good with the move, but for what?

    I still can't believe they put him back in the game, even for one play.

     

    I watched that TD throw that Reilly made on the next play, he just kind of threw it up and let Chambers catch it, then he stumbled around wondering what sideline to go to.  He was completely gone, his eyes were totally unfocussed.  I just can't understand what they are doing in Edmonton.

     

    They got no one else to go in, it's Reilly or jospeh and a concussed Reilly is probably still a more dangerous player than Joseph.

     

     

    I hope that isn't their reasoning. I understand if the doctors say he's good to go, but if he is concussed and plays, that is borderline criminal.

    It's EASILY the best money I've spent going to Bomber games this season .. Where it used to take upwards of an hour to get to / from CanadInns while living in Royalwood .. it's seriously no more than 15 - 20 minutes tops.  It's bloody fantastic.  When I can leave my house an hour before kickoff .. drive to the stadium .. park .. go check out the Bomber Store and get a drink and STILL be in my seat with time to spare .. I consider that a win!

     

     

     but wouldn't an actual WIN by the team be even nicer?

    They are working on a deal but Burke is not allowed to know about it since he would tell everyone about it.

     

    Honestly, why would they include Burke in discussions at this point? He won't be part of the team going forward. I'd leave him out of any deal being worked on.
