Can someone create a separate GIF thread?
That's not a GIF, that's a picture of the craziness going on in Winnipeg and/or all of us running away from the GDT.
GEEZ...can't you tell the difference?
I'm thinking it's a photoshop......

Anyone who wants Burke fired right now is not thinking things through.
What's not to think through?
MB becomes interim HC until the end of the season. Bump his pay a bit and know he is gone to Ottawa. Tell him not to throw players under the bus in press conferences.
Burke is going to end more than his own carreer if he shows that little faith in his offence and tosses good defensive players under the bus. He is doing more harm than good by being kept around. Yeah, I get that he isn't going to quite (and I don't blame him) but he is not adding anything these days.
You really think MB wants to take on HC as well as OC duties? And do you really think, at this point, he's going to make that much of a difference?
Bumping up his pay would just mean that they'd be now not only be paying for Burke's position, but whatever they bump MB's pay up to as well. And, as others have stated, we'd lose our only decent Defensive coach.
Do I think making MB HC is going to get us wins? No. At this point that is not what I care about. This season is toast and I think Burke being around is not helping next season. Not if he is going to take a knee and slag players.

Desperate people with nothing to lose like Burke can wind up doing stupid things in a crazy attempt to save their job, that`s the concern with letting him stay on when the year is already a write off.
I'm more concerned with his apparent "not give a ****" attitude. I just think he's going to be a bad influence on the young players. Get rid of the dead man walking.

Maybe they are just that pissed off at the coach.

How so? I am curious to know where this information comes from.
He has said in some interviews that he would like to go back to being a GM and/or HC. He's also applied for a few openings in the past few years as well including here after Kelly and Bauer were gone.
Interesting...
Sorry TB, but this is pretty common knowledge. The CFL job is a gig until he finds something else coaching wise. If not, it's a nice cushy job to fall back on. But Higgins does want to coach again.
I'm not sure why your apologizing here. I questioned your statement because I hadn't heard anything about it. I don't claim to know ALL of what goes on in the CFL, so if there is something I haven't heard, I'll ask about it. That's part of what a message board is about.
Besides, if it was "common knowledge" then shouldn't I be the one apologizing??
Sorry, TB.
I apologize to all four of you

I know SD missed earlier in the game but i'm sure he could have at least kicked it through the back of the end zone.
Maybe someone needed to explain to Burke that a single means we win. I'm not sure he actually understood the math.

So here's another thing that should be brought up... I know everyone is loving Walters right now but don't we raise an eyebrow having to use a guy like Ford at rb right now when Garrett would in my mind anyway be a better option for the team as a full time starter? Seems that maybe they were too quick to cut the guy.
I still think Walters need to be AGM for a couple more years. We need to do a search for a GM, the it should have already been started.

Cant fire him today. Who replaces him, MB?
And then who keeps the D from completely sinking to the bottom of the ocean?
MB for the rest of the year. At least he won't toss decent players under the bus. I'm tired of Burke pointing fingers, especially when he points out guys who have been working hard and doing a good job.
The D is what the D is.

decisions like taking a knee or going for it would come from the head coach unless you are running a real disfunctional team.
So, the question remains......

Something a commentor to the Penton article pointed out, the loss to Edmonton means we are not only chasing Montreal for the third spot, but the crossover is possible (probable).
We have no hope for the playoffs.
-
Doesnt Marcel call the plays?
Thought did rummage around in my head at one point this weekend. I'm having a tough time thinking MB called for a knee. If he did, I'm sure Burke would have tossed him under the bus in the post-game.
I'm still waiting for Burke to be fired. Hopefully today.

God I wish we could get Mike Kelly back.
Not a chance. Season ticket sales would go south like geese in Autumn.
Kelly is available for both the HC and GM positions but he doesn't stand a chance of even being interviewed. And, IMO, rightly so.
See, it doesn't sound the same if you cut out the rest of my statement. Burke can't even be entertaining, at least Kelly had that.
-
Not only is Burke the worst Bomber coach ever but I now believe him to be the worst head coach I have ever seen in any league.
God I wish we could get Mike Kelly back. At least he was entertaining to listen to.
After Friday, I've changed my mind about keeping Burke. I think he is doing more long-term damage being HC for the rest of the year. Give MB a big chunk of money to finish the year out as HC (nothing more than the year) and tell Burke to hit the beach, golf course or whatever.
To take a knee with 26 seconds left is the absolute stupidest thing I have seen in all my years of watching football.

Why are we ragging on Bellefuille... I thought he called a pretty good game - not his fault that Hall served up some some terrible INTs.
cause he's a lousy coach as proven by his past experiences? Not like the offense did anything outside of the first quarter last night, that reflects on the coaching as much as it does the players. Edmonton made adjustments our offensive staff did nothing to counter those adjustments.
It really hurts to be out-coached by Kavis Reed.

Is there a link to the post-game interview by Burke? The TSN one isn't working.

At least it was good to see what someone playing safety well can do. Cauchy is a total loss and is unlikely to get better.
Did you see how comically bad the defense looked when cauchy got in there at the end? first thing he does is take a major penalty...
That was just sad. No other way to put it.
-
The only good thing about this game is that Hall is not all that bad.
Put Goltz on the first Bus going south.
Jones is a keeper at Left Tackle. Knapp on the other side maybe not.
Give Knapp a break... 4 days with the team... wasn't in game shape.... the guy did more then enough.
We didnt' lose because of KNapp that's for sure.
Could be. We'll see how he does going forward...
I'm with you on this. Yeah, he had a couple of bad beats. But he was an improvement over Boatman and I'd like to see more of him.

Is this the gif thread?????

Apparently I don't know how.

Goltz is finished in his career as a Bomber starter ... until Hall or Boltus falter that is
well Hall is probably going to die this week just based on the o-line, then they'll throw Boltus to the wolves, say 2 games there, then when he isn't any better they'll turn to brown, so 6 more games until Goltz is back up to #1?
God I just wish this season was over.
