Lucky wasn't cut. Sheed took his spot in September but Lucky was still with the club for the rest of the season. Sheed may have taken over sooner had he not been nicked in camp. Lucky also got hurt around that time (September) so it's also possible Sheed doesn't get a shot if Lucky had been healthy.

IIRC they split up for a while but got back together a couple years ago so they could be popular again - I'm also not up to date on current music, it's just not something I would ever pay to see or tune in for. There's a reason why Doman went out and got LL Cool J & now 50 Cent for home opener concerts - people will pay to see that kind of show. The Lions are expecting their biggest crowd in over a decade to kick-off the season.

Not sure where either of you are getting that info but looks like you are both wrong. He definitely did not spend a year and a half on the PR but he did bounce back and forth in 2019. According the CFL site, he was with the team from camp in 2019 as we added him to the roster in April. He only played 8 games that season - he was on the injured list from mid-June to mid-July and then bounced back and forth from the PR until September. He didn't record a single stat until week 13 (Banjo Bowl) at which time he stayed on the active roster. That makes sense. I had read the articles about some of his off-field businesses so I knew he was already setting himself up for life after football. The timing of it happening when he was expected to take over at one of the tackle spots is unfortunate as it lead to this type of confusion.

That's his statement. 3D article says they couldn't agree on a restructured contract so he bailed. So he was under contract already and either asked for more or they asked him to take a pay cut going into a season where he was expected to play. Yeah not a test of how well our offense does as a team but (expectations are very low) but the receivers and QB's are going to be tested individually to see who's going to step up and grab a spot on the team. QB3 and Bailey's replacement need to be determined (if the coaches haven't already decided) so that's what I'm looking for.

Not just a heavier workload but the Stamps are bringing most of their projected starters on offense so he (and the rest of the rookies on D) will be up against legit players and not a bunch of TCF.
