Yeah Abby is from a different era and not my thing but he was huge in his day. I'm not sure I would say shady but definitely careless and/or ignorant. Considering the amount of hardcore matches he has done, probably didn't think spreading disease was possible. Other than Hannibal, did anyone else ever contract something from him? That's because it's fairly last minute. The same flight 3 weeks ago was under $600 (same as if you are looking to go a month from now). Also doesn't help that the only option from there seems to be Air Canada so they can charge whatever without worrying about competition.

Maybe Campbell was a backup plan but they could have done that without extending Dyce months later. He was hired in January and then Dyce got extended in April. Poor cap management amongst many other issues with that team.

Yep, other teams have given reps to their 3rd string guys either by choice (like Sask last week with Coan) or by circumstance (Toronto & Doege). It would be nice to know what Wilson can do at some point.

I agree with that as well. I'd feel much more confident in this regime if they showed any kind of willingness to change/adapt but we haven't really seen that yet. Whether they stay or go, some things need to change.

This isn't new though. What many people have been complaining about (not going to rehash the same old arguments) has been happening for a couple seasons. This is just the first time the team hasn't been able to overcome the obvious problems and now more people have come around to the idea that maybe it's time for a change. These guys are Bomber legends and I don't think anyone will dispute that but all good things come to an end at some point.

That's a bit of a stretch. Hamilton at no point says they are interested in him - only that he (Hamilton) would want him, if he was running the show out there. His exact words:

He was on pace for a career year but the last few weeks derailed that (0 yards against Ottawa in week 16 and then only 5 against Edmonton in week 19). Had he stayed healthy and put up some good numbers the last couple weeks (questionable with this offense) he might have been in the conversation but yeah not the MOP for me.

What does 3rd place get you that 4th doesn't? You're still on the road for the playoffs so I see no downside to letting some back-ups get some playing time and letting some starters get some rest.
