GDT- Bombers vs BC
I was going to say the same - the layout of the stadium isn't great for fly overs. From my seats in 207, I've only seen them after they have flown past (and if they head west afterwards) - otherwise it's just noise for me.

Paris 2024 Olympics
Made the finals & won gold in men's doubles in 2000 (Canada's only medal in tennis). Daniel Nestor was part of that team & he later lost in the bronze medal game in 2012 (also in men's doubles but with a different partner).

Heard they're trying some new techniques in order to help in this area.- GDT- Bombers vs BC
If I can give the team a pep talk for tonight, it'd go something like this:- Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
His contract ends after this season IIRC. He signed a new 2 year deal in 2022 (through the 2024 season) that had some guaranteed money. 3DN shows that only 15% of his contract is guaranteed (or about 25k). https://3downnation.com/2024/05/12/the-cfls-10-highest-paid-linebackers-for-the-2024-season/- Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Having a solid base of season ticket holders definitely helps.- Paris 2024 Olympics
Some bad luck for a Canadian gymnast who was doing well in the all-round finals and was in 3rd place at the time. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/othersport/1930546/Olympics-2024-gymnastics-Felix-Dolci- Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

- Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
I mean he did look like he was taking a little snooze out there... first 10 seconds of this clip shows why they pulled him. https://www.tsn.ca/cfl/video/cfl-blue-bombers-14-argonauts-16-ot~2966932- Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
You're not wrong lol. TSN cut to a shot of his wife in the stands while he was down - not a care in the world that her husband was laid out on the ground, looking like "Oh I've seen this before, he'll be fine, can you pass the fries?"- Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
Yeah it was weird because they let him run a few plays before pulling him but on the initial hit/shove, he was laying face down for a few seconds and was pretty slow to get up.- Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
Yeah I'm not wishing that on anyone, but the hit that put him down & pulled from the game, was nothing special (looked more like he got shoved to the ground than hit) so it got me wondering what might happen if/when he really gets hammered. Given our o-line play and his history, it's something that could very well happen.- Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
Yeah and if it's not done immediately, it's not getting done I guess. Look how long it took for Lucky's deal to get done, and that was a PR deal. It was reported on June 29th that he was expected to sign but a deal wasn't officially announced until July 8th. I'm not too concerned about this getting done.- Blue Bombers - 2024 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
The bombers were scheduled to have a meeting with his agent yesterday so a deal could still be in the works (or already done and just hasn't been announced yet).- Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
After watching him get taken out of the game by the spotter, it got me thinking. How would it work if he was unable to play next season due to injury? Under normal circumstances, we couldn't release him this season if he was injured and have to wait until the off season. Could we still do that or because of the guarantee, would we just park him on the 6 game all next year. He still gets paid but it wouldn't go against the cap.- Paris 2024 Olympics
Canada gets it's first gold in Paris and it's first ever gold medal in Judo. https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/summer/judo/olympics-judo-canada-christa-deguchi-paris-july-29-1.7278405- Worn Out Fan
They could also free up some cash by dropping some veteran dead weight (Biggie, BA). I'd also look into redoing some of the deals we have where we are over-paying guys (Kramdi, Demski). That last part might be tougher to do but the reality is we aren't getting the best bang for our buck there.- GDT - Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Toronto Argonauts
Imagine being a rookie and watching Biggie or BA flail around, whiff or get run over out there while you have no chance in hell of seeing the field other than on teams. MOS is loyal to a fault to anyone in the starting rotation. Doesn't matter if you earned your spot or were handed it due to injury (like Johnson), once you are there, you're pretty safe.- Worn Out Fan
This. I can stomach growing pains if there's a sign of potential. With cooked vets (some going on a couple years of being past their best before date), there's zero reason to believe they'll suddenly find the fountain of youth and be in their prime again. They don't need to go full Chris Jones mode and make mass changes all at once but they need to do something and it just doesn't seem like there is any desire/will to make necessary moves.- SNF Ti Cats @ Winless Elks GDT
Classic Suitor. Blowing the Edmonton DB's seconds before they get torched for a big score. MOS is playing on a different level than other HC's. They are all still trying to use their DL to accomplish that feat!- SNF Ti Cats @ Winless Elks GDT
If our O-line play doesn't improve, Zach may not make it to next year and the contract would be a moot point. - GDT- Bombers vs BC
