  1. Poor Larry... hopefully his performance was enough to get him another look somewhere else.
  2. Just saw this on Twitter and came to post it. Good stuff. Whatever your opinion was of him as a poster/moderator, there's no denying he was a huge Bomber fan. Rip Brent.
  3. The deadline for opting out has been extended indefinitely according to Hodge.
  4. 2020 can f**k right off already. 😞
  5. The possibility of them celebrating a cup win in the Oilers locker room made me ill. Thankfully I no longer have to worry about that!
  6. This guy also has a conviction for insurance fraud and filing a false statement. He couldn't get a job as a cop elsewhere because of it. This particular sheriff's office clearly has low standards.
  7. I don't know what my earliest on-field memory of the team is but I do vividly remember meeting Tyrone Jones when I was around 8 or 9. My dad knew Tyrone and we happened to run into him one day. I remember being absolutely speechless and could barely get out a hello. I couldn't believe that I was meeting this guy I had heard about all about on the radio and I was even more shocked that my dad knew him. I was hooked on the Bombers after that (I was particularly focused on defensive players back then). I'm sure my dad was sick of me asking questions about Ty and what other players he knew, but he never let on that he was.
  8. Some people just knew we would still be Grey Cup champions for 2020...
  9. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Heighton Wore 58.
  10. The buffet there was amazing... definitely miss that place.
  11. It would be A franchisee since there is no one single franchise owner in either the US or Canada. This particular one was rather large though (the guy owns about 1200 Pizza Huts and 400 Wendy's). https://popculture.com/trending/news/pizza-hut-wendys-bankruptcy-franchise/
  12. Fun fact, he's also in the Canadian Arts & Crafts Hall of Fame.
  13. Picking one is an impossible task. Philiion, Sanchez, Ferri, Cox... and that's just from the Montreal teams of the past. Ed Gainey & Nic Marshall are probably at the top of the current hate list - love when Darvin is in their face giving it right back to them.
  14. Doug Flutie, the guy could do it all... if he was a little bit taller, we'd have never seen him up here.
  15. Favorite: Mike Sellers Least: Nate Davis... would easily be Durant had he suited up for even one game.
  16. Definitely mediocre and it was no surprise to read about them closing. I had high hopes for them based on things I had heard but was very disappointed the few times I went.
  17. There are lots. Like Frosty said, do a google search because where you live (or work) will determine where you'd want to try. I've used a couple over the last few years (one in Transcona & one in Winnipeg Square) that I would have no issues recommending to people - both were quick, very reasonably priced, and most importantly - quality work.
  18. They better fine these dumb f**ks. They traveled to the US and Alberta where they were in contact with a person confirmed to have Covid. They should have been self isolating regardless of whether or not they were symptomatic (which they clearly were). Even if they weren't in that position, if you are sick or showing signs of sickness, stay the f**k home! Two strikes is enough for a fine in my books.
  19. Counter-punch from another church... https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/arts-and-life/life/faith/petition-to-open-places-of-worship-a-terrible-idea-cleric-says-571370282.html
  20. To the surprise of absolutely nobody: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/manitoba-government-public-sector-wage-freeze-1.5608713
  21. If he was so concerned, why wait until the end of the season? He could easily quit now... is it because he's not very good and is using this as an excuse to bow out?
