  1. The problem is the Riders is not winning. At least the Bombers is sitting at 3rd in the West. So you think he would rather be depth on a winning club than starting on a losing one? Do you see why that makes no sense? He just left that situation. I'm hoping Simmons wont read this... LOL. Anyways, one thing that the Ticats is doing that no others team dont, they alternately sitting guys (even starters) on a weekly basis. That is too keep them healthy and fresh. That's why you see a lot of players listed on their IR. That was mentioned in the TSN panel previously too. And winning makes the team buy on to it. So if Simmons ended with the Ticats, he will still get his chance(s) to play and a highly possible chance to earn an playoff cheques.
  2. I put him in the 44 instead of Littlejohn, that's for sure.
  3. I got a hunch that the Esks and Ticats will be in the mix.
  4. The problem is the Riders is not winning. At least the Bombers is sitting at 3rd in the West.
  5. I appreciate the enthusiasm but Morley and January aren't coming back nor should they. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
  6. Lions are desperate. They're desperate you say. If I'm Walters, I'll sign Jasper Simmons and trade Sam Hurl to the Lions for an NI OL or DT.
  7. Let's see Lewis for now but... I wouldn't mind Greaves too if he can really play that position well. Move Goossen to the LG and re-sign Morley as the #6 OL. I wouldn't mind re-signing January for the RT spot too.
  8. I hope too. Is Tyler healthy? I believe he is in the 6-weeks IR.

  10. Should we be interested? Heck yeah! No trade needed.
  11. Hard to beat someone 3 times. These last few years, not to be rude, the riders have had a better team and have had the advantage. If there was a year for you guys to sweep, its this year. We'll know this Saturday where our season is heading. Another dismal performance against the Stamps and I'd say the bombers sweep is a definite possibility. The bombers are a better team right now, but as I said before, with out Drew it makes it a lot tighter Most will agree that the Bombers are better than the Riders right now... but there's something about (Mary) that Labour Day game... most will agree the 2011 Bomber were much better and look what happened... there's no question the 2001 Bomber were miles ahead and the Bomber just barely squeaked that one out... doesn't matter what the records are, recent history tells us the Riders are the favourite in the LDC... for now... Of course, there always be first for something. Who knows if that 3-wins trend for the Bombers-Riders will end this year. But I'm very optimistic that the Bombers will do a payback from the 0-3 beating they got from the Riders last year.
  12. It's reported that he has tummy flu that day.
  13. I remember there was a stat that been posted on the official forum before that says that when the Bombers and the Riders plays each other 3 times in the season, usually only 1 team getting all the wins. I think that was brought up last year, and we know that the Riders got 3 wins from us. Now, since we won the first game against them, I have a high hope that history will repeat itself.
  14. Hey Mike, just asking. Would you know if the Bombers at least inquired with Calgary for possibly trading for him?
  15. After the Riders' bye... let's get back at it... 0 - 8
  16. No need to trade for Simmons. He might get released and can be picked up without giving up something. On the other hand Wild might be avaialble in the next few days/weeks. I prefer Wild than Simmons.
  17. Can the coach throw the challenge flag within the 3 minutes? If yes, for what is Oshea is saving that for?
  18. Anybody watched the pre-season games especially the Packers' and Ravens' ? NFL stats says Bilukidi didn't do anything although I'm not sure how much he played. Mulumba doesn't have any stats to show either but the logs said he assisted on 3 tackles.
  19. Just watched the 2014 Wpg-Cgy game where Marve replaced Brohm (injured). I can say, I got a little bit of hope that Marve and the O can score points on Friday.
  20. If this is accurate, we might not see Mulumba for quite a while, if ever. http://gnb.247sports.com/Bolt/Five-knee-jerk-reactions-to-Day-9-of-Packers-training-camp-38663702 No worries though. He's 25, even if he comes to the CFL after 2-3 yrs, barring any major injuries, we can still get 2-3 yrs from him.
  21. If our D and ST will wake up and come in ready to play, we could win this game. D need to stop the Argos O marching down the field create turnovers and keep the Argos O on the sidelines. The ST need to give Marve and the O short fields consistently, and dont give up big returns. I really dont expect much on O. Just play it clean and don't create giveaways for the the Argo's D.
