Getting Alexander back should solidify that side of the secondary. It's good for Carmichael to hace some experience. But we are getting deeper on the season and as they say the true season comes Labor Day.

Yup that would be my guess too. Alexander should be back next week from the 1-day IR as he practiced Mon & Tue. They probably didn't put him in because this is a short week. Carmichael should go to the PR. I think they might give Feoli-Gudino a week (next week) on the IR to rest. Coates filled in OK. Time to give either Blazko or Wolitarsky some gametime experience as backup.

I like Will Hill. Can play different position on the secondary and SAM. But we have a good depth with Alexander, Carmichael, Fogg, Walker and Porter. Maybe he was asked to go to PR but opted to be released instead.
