Attendance is no worse than it was at Canad Inns. This is 100% false. Let's not forget when we were getting 21K for a playoff game. 24-27k was a typical crowd at Canad Inns and we're still hovering around those same numbers. False narrative.

I love IG Field but a downtown stadium really would be awesome. Imagine 33 000 fans flooding downtown on a hot summer night after a Bomber game. It would be phenomenal. I hate how there isn't really anywhere to walk after games at IG Field. Again I do like it. But the potential of a downtown stadium is very intriguing. Downtown Minneapolis is a great example.

He's in

1-5 in the last six games of 2014 (plus a loss in the playoffs, so more like 1-6), 0-9 before getting fired in 2015, and 0-4 this year. So basically 1-19 in his last 20 games. Although to be fair, he also won a Grey Cup in 2017 as the Argos DC.

I could see Chamblin bringing the heat and overwhelming Arbuckle. That along with a continuation of the MBT-Walker connection could give TO the win or at least make it interesting. That's the only scenario I can see where the Argos are competitive in this one. If they get off to a bad start again, look out. Stamps won't let off the gas.

My dad worked for Wang Computers, they had their head office in Winnipeg I believe. We used to have a lot of Wang merchandise so that Simpsons moment always held a special place in my heart.

I never thought of that as "Oh no the Bombers are going to win!" It was more like "Oh no what a disaster for the Esks and those poor defensive backs!" More of a display of sympathy for the huge screwup than disappointment that the team he hates was going to win, IMO.

They can both run a sub-4.3 40. 4.26 at Walker's UCLA pro day. 4.29 is Whitehead's best recorded time while working out for NFL teams. Walker also competed as a track star, did the hurdles at the Junior Olympics.

He is technically not a healthy scratch because he is still on the injured list. I'll be shocked if he isn't in the lineup next week. Just being cautious and giving him lots of practice time before reinserting him into the lineup.

I have a friend there. The problem is that the ST ticket base keeps going down every year and it is at its lowest point now since the move. So even when the team is playing well, it's hard to get the numbers up. CFL attendance in general keeps going down and I'm not sure what's behind that. If course, things could change with a big ticket push over today and tomorrow to get us into the 24-25k range but the trend isn't looking great right now. It's sad because this team deserves a big crowd.

I'm hearing that ticket sales for Friday's game are trending towards the 23K range which would potentially be the lowest attendance for a Bomber game in IG Field's history.
