If you go through the process of doing a mock expansion draft, it's interesting to see that there will likely be a surplus of defencemen to choose from... good forwards will be much harder to come by. Vegas will have their pick of some good D, but their top six forwards will be a nightmare (although free agency may offer them some good choices).

My main gripe is that there is very little time for practice and evaluation between the two games.

He's scheduled back in 6-8 weeks. Career-threatening is "Not sure your brain can survive another hit, not sure you'll ever skate again, etc."

They have a really hard time putting together a pre-season schedule that makes any sense. Our games are 5 days apart. EDM plays 4 days apart. Pointless. 3 Thursday night home games in a row in summer. Count on sub-25000 crowds for those. Lame. 3 Friday night home games which is nice. Week 13 bye is okay. Not a huge fan of week 1 bye... in the 3 seasons since OTT joined, we've now had to deal with the week 20 bye and the week 1 bye. 9 teams and we get the bullshit all the time. I hope the CFL realizes we're keeping track. SSK - CGY - TOR - BC - MTL to start the season. That's not so bad.
