  1. Put Tavares on a line with Ehlers and Laine and check in on his points total...
  2. I've done hot yoga and I can echo the "sweat a disgusting amount." I've never sweat as much in my life as I did during hot yoga. It feels great afterwards.
  3. Tavares can likely get that money in at least 10-15 different cities in the NHL. If I am him, there is no way I'm staying in NY. Not once in his time there has he been given any top-tier talent to work with. And any time their young players start to develop, they are shipped out of town. It's a terrible place to play hockey.
  4. For as poor as the receivers are coming out of CIS, the defensive backs are even worse. These things are probably related. Not to be racist but there are just way too many white guys playing DB in the CIS and they suck at it.

Why would that work now if a similar venture failed 20 years ago? What's different this time around? Obviously a peaceful resolution would be the ideal outcome but I'm not sure the "kill them with kindness" approach is going to work for NK.
  6. It's **** like this that makes people hate liberals so much
  7. Haha... not sure we'll ever see the day an 8th round draft pick out of UAlberta returns kicks in the CFL. Tylor just needs to worry about staying healthy and catching the ball in camp and he might just earn a practice roster spot and get into a game some time in the next couple years.
  8. Where's the accountability from the CFL? I demand blood!
  9. Kohlert was a disaster last year. I was a huge Kohlert fan but he was a total liability on offence in the last half of the season. When you're the 5th receiver, all you really gotta do is catch the ball on the rare occasion it comes your way, and he couldn't do that. Not only that he dropped it in the worst possible way. It was the right time to move on.
  10. Yes, as long as Okpalaugo delivers and stays healthy. Interestingly enough he played with both Kyle Knox and Kyrie Wilson at Fresno State... two of our top candidates to win the MLB spot. Also hoping that Westerman's down season was a blip rather than a sign that his career is winding down. And that Thomas can handle the increased workload and Ekakatie is ready to contribute. Lots of questions but like I said I'm hopeful. I think he'll be a top 3 QB this year along with Reilly and Mitchell.
  11. I'll believe it when I see it.... last year Cummings and Shologan were supposed to fix the dline and it didn't happen. This year it's Thomas/Ekakitie, Nevis, and Okpalaugo. Hoping for the best...
  12. I can't blame Holtby.... the team totally stopped playing in front of him with 8 or 9 minutes to go in the game.
  13. Maybe we can coax Demarcus Ware out of retirement
  14. I think its time for Addison Richards to step up
  15. Cole and Green were both pretty underwhelming and I hope they bring in at least one more guy for competition. If Okpalaugo gets hurt then we are looking at the exact same guys as last year, when they were so ineffective.
  16. Walters said Marouf is exclusively a tackle. He weighs 290-300 pounds right now.
  17. The 7 draft picks don't count towards the roster limit
  18. Post-draft expected depth chart:
  19. The Riders talked to him and flew him out to Regina 3 days before the draft. They worked him out and interviewed him extensively and he is expected to play football this year. He was out of football originally because he went to South America, got really sick and lost a bunch of weight. But it looks like he is ready to play football again. 6'6", 315 lbs, 22 reps on the bench, 8'6" broad jump. Former Boston College player before transferring to Western. Looks like a steal if he actually plays. source, Chris Jones interview: http://www.riderville.com/2017/05/07/coach-jones-on-the-2017-cfl-draft/
  20. Tylor Henry had 19 catches for 298 yards against the Bisons in October
  21. I just saw on Twitter a crazy guy combined and weighted a bunch of different mock drafts
  22. Afford what? They already have a stadium to play in and is not like they have to buy the team.
  23. We missed the boat big time
