1000% agree. There’s so much we can do to help with protection and run blocking. In addition to what you said, maybe crack the de’s a few times. Might slow down the rush a bit if they’re worried about being decleated. I thought in the Ottawa game we moved Collaros around more, to mixed results, but it was better than standing in the pocket. Also, our use of Strevy has sucked so far. If anything, we’re using him less than we did Prukop last year. I don’t understand why we aren’t using him more, especially given our struggles to move the ball.

I’d love to see an overhead view of games to see if the receivers are getting open. It seems like he’s double pumping a lot. Is that bc he’s not able to pull the trigger, the receivers aren’t open, or is the lack of protection getting in his head? Probably a bit of each, but it’s hard to tell without seeing film of the game.

While he is starting to get old, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that his play has fallen off as our ol has gotten worse. Our OL was great in 2021, but has gotten a little bit worse each year since.

You need to stop whatever you’re doing right now and apologize to Osh.

Mitchell doesn’t look natural back there. Looks uncomfortable getting under a ball that isn’t kicked right to him, doesn’t have great vision, and doesn’t seem to have the speed to make much happen.

I didn’t think Lofton was bad. Neufeld & Kolo, on the other hand, looked terrible. Eli needs to be in next week for one of Neufeld or Kolo, if for nothing more than to send a message that their play has been unacceptable.

Is that what he runs now? I saw his 40 time in highschool was 4.74, but that was on his hudl bio, so who knows lol 4.86 might not be top 10 for MB highschool players. My son put up a better time, and he's not at the top.

I loved the one line BLM said after the game; "They're a well coached football team, and they show you what you don't do well". He brought up twice how well prepared we are.
