CFL Player Award predictions
sweep the leg replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'm a Bomber fan, so I support Harris, but I wouldn't vote for anybody from a different team who tested positive. I certainly understand why somebody wouldn't vote for Harris. -

Who starts Zac attack vs Strevinator?
sweep the leg replied to bb1's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Are we still doing the Fajardo sucks thing? He's had a pretty good season. -
Same. It was just my phone.
-
Yes, they're gone. Thank you.

Is it just me, or are there way more ads on the site now? I'm getting them popping up in the middle of threads now, and they're much bigger at the top and bottom of the screen. It's only this site that it's happening to me.

He had a decent season. An all time bad defense overshadowed that.

I have zero doubt that a flag would have been thrown if we hit Mitchell like that.

He walked past me going into the stadium in running shows, with no pronounced limp. Just a guess, but the boot was likely bc he'd be standing for three hours. -
Four weeks of scout team reps. Streveler had a full training camp, plus a week of 1st team reps before his first game. We'd be putting a guy in a position where he's almost certainly going to fail.

I like Bailey. He's earned a starting job. But you're easily impressed if you think averaging 50 yds/gm is outstanding. Same with Lawler, he deserves to be starting, but he's averaging 25 yds/gm in the three weeks since his big game.

You need to pull the reins in a little on this one. I think "respectable" describes their play more accurately.

AB Provincial gov't proposing big cuts to services and public servant jobs. Also, something I store from twitter that I thought was funny: Jason Kenney: I gave 4.5 billion to the oil companies! Here come the jobs! Oil Companies: Thanks for the free money! Here come the layoffs! Jason Kenney: Alberta is broke! Here come the cuts! Albertans: **** Trudeau!

Fenner hurt or benched?

Per Knuckles, Collaros is starting.

Speedflex with the hot take. 1k yards would have him near the top 10 and the best Canadian receiver in the league.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League

The bolded portion is a good point, and something I had forgotten. Everything above it is pretty crazy lol. -

Not to mention how much tougher our schedule has been since then. -
Ruth Ellen Brosseau lost to the Bloc candidate. That's too bad. Her candidacy was a bit of a joke in 2011, but she made the most of her opportunity and from most accounts was doing a good job. I'm always a sucker for single mom stories...
-
I'm glad the NDP have enough seats that the Liberals only have to work with them. Needing to include the Bloc would have been bad news.

I agree. I don't know a lot about her, but I liked what I heard while she was in charge for that brief time.

I meant Andrew Harris. I was referring to the West MOP conversation. -

Harris, Burnham, and Begelton would probably be my top three. -

Contract seems pretty fair, given how much the qb payscale changed this past offseason. I would expect Evans to get around the same. I know he's not a pending fa, but I think he gets extended in the offseason. I bet Arbuckle's 7 game stint as a starter will get him somewhere between $350-400k. BLM and Reilly blew up the qb payscale. Trying to reverse that would likely see a team end up with the least wanted qb of who's available. -
The two short guys weren't going to be open for long. It was 2nd and long and they both had a Bomber above them around the first down marker. If they got the ball, they wouldn't have gotten a first without breaking a tackle. Those would be the kind of throws people get mad at Lapo for. I have no explanation for how wide open the actual target was, though.
