Lucic being woo-ed by Edmonton. Oilers flew him in today to show their interest. Word is that if they can get him, he's gonna want big money, so they'd have to deal one of their guys (likely Hall) for a RD 1/2, which is basically unavailable, so you're doing something stupid like trade Hall for Dumba, which is insanity. But.......curious, nonetheless...

I'll say this....I feel better about this week's game, than I did about last week. I feel like Calgary is going to start off this season on a big slide and all of the horse-f***er media are going to be "O NOES!1! HUFF COME BACK11!!"

Bottom line, there's so many factors that go into a sack that average fans don't have any clue about. MOS said something yesterday about how whenever there's a sack, it means at least 2 or 3 things went wrong in order for that to happen...

Interesting note, if you read James Duthie's latest book, he all but says that he was offered the HNIC gig before Strombo but decided to say no, so they gave it to GS. Would have been a MUCH different situation with Duthie, imo...

I don't understand why people are dismissing the 2014 game....considering the streak in AB, I'll take any win. That was as legit as anything. The defense stood on their heads and had an incredible afternoon. That was an awesome day...don't diminish it....

not an accurate statement, so that's alright... What's really interesting is Roger's coming right out and saying "Listen, we are targeting an older demographic, because that's where our money is..." and people are SO mad about it. Keith Olbermann in the US has been irate, firing off tweet after tweet directly to Scott Moore about how they're "going back to a product that was passe in 2004".....which is just the most pretentious statement ever. Why is there this notion that with Strombo hosting, it's "targeting a younger demo"??? How on earth is Strombo supposed to get a younger demo? He's gotta be in his mid-40s, right? I mean, maybe 10 years younger than MacLean....he's not a kid!

They're "hopeful" (didn't say expect him) he'll play this week. Jessie Briggs and Khalil Bass should be in Friday, but Johnny Adams still a ways out yet. Said they don't wanna rush him because "we want him ready for the long haul"...

They figure it's not that bad. Irving says he was throwing balls with receivers and running today, which he wouldn't be if it was serious and he'd be out awhile.

Have never understood the heat Healey takes from fans. Always liked the guy on air. Glad they've fixed a few wrongs and Amber being promoted is solid. He's a good host....

It was one of the greatest sporting events I've ever been at. Bombers fans along the sidelines getting high fives from all the players and they gave me a pair of game worn cutter gloves from. That day. Incredible day....

I know I'm late to the party but I finally got around to watching Letterkenny last night. I don't remember the last time I laughed that hard at anything. Growing up in a small town, this was a pretty great little snapshot of that life...

Ya we've got a crew coming. Weather's supposed to be nice...Late game so hopefully it stays relatively warm and hopefully we can have some celebratory pops after....
