  1. All of the ones you want.....the ones who wanna play for a coach that trusts them with the game on the line and then stands by his decision afterward when it doesn't pan out, and never once places blame on any player.
  2. Nothing earth shattering, but.... gary lawless ‏@garylawless 5m5 minutes ago would expect @Wpg_BlueBombers to get O'Shea extension done promptly following Grey Cup. #cfl now in news moratorium. gary lawless ‏@garylawless 5m5 minutes ago signing O'Shea critical for @Wpg_BlueBombers in attempt to move forward. FA players want to know who they will play for before signing #cfl
  3. It would take a monster ridiculous payday for Nichols to bolt. I know there's teams that'll be interested, but I think we'll get him back. I just can't see someone giving him the moon...
  4. I was curious about that, too... Off ice transgression??
  5. Bob Irving @BobIrvingCJOB Mike OShea tight lipped about contract situation in final media avail of season. But he WILL BE BACK. Just a matter of time
  6. I think Ian Wild played most of this season injured....
  7. Bob Irving @BobIrvingCJOB Mike OShea tight lipped about contract situation in final media avail of season. But he WILL BE BACK. Just a matter of time
  8. Take this for what it's worth, but Steve Morley saying on Twitter that Jim Barker has been in touch with MOS already (tampering, be damned...)
  9. The way our offense had been playing in the second half, I had way more confidence in Medlock than anyone else on the team...
  10. I've been wanting to make this exact point for awhile now. People keep talking about how so-and-so "wasn't as good as last year" but what they really mean is "he didn't have the same stats as last year". We don't know if they didn't play as well, or if they just didn't get the stats because their schemes changed or their role within the defense changed.....could be any number of things.
  11. Lowry was so good last night...and, as mentioned on the broadcast, he was a key cog in their playoff run a couple years ago. That kid is an integral part of the time. I've come to learn that 95% of what Ducky posts in the hockey threads is borderline insanity...
  12. Soooooooo.....it's a second Grey Cup Week?? ....But in the off-season.........
  13. TORONTO – The Canadian Football League announced today that Saskatchewan will play host to the first ever CFL Week in March, 2017. The week will be capped off with the CFL’s National Combine, where Canada’s rising stars will come together in Regina for the most social and most accessible Combine – for fans and media – in CFL history. The off-season gathering will also include several major fan engagement events, multi-day media access opportunities to more than 50 prominent CFL players, a Hall of Fame and player Gala Dinner at the new Mosaic Stadium, a coaches’ media junket and a new passing showcase tournament featuring several of Canada’s top university football programs. “We are excited to be bringing the largest-ever CFL off-season gathering and party to Rider Nation,” said Jeffrey L. Orridge, CFL Commissioner. “This is about giving fans more Canadian Football events and engagement with our brand in the off-season each year. This is also about providing sports media more access and content opportunities to today’s biggest and rising stars.” For more information and tickets to the inaugural CFL Week, please visit cflweek.ca.
  14. Yep, as Mike alluded to, it's gotta be something real big......curiouser and curiouser....
  15. I wondered if it was that...basically said that there's a CFL sanctioned LGBTQ2 party during GC Week in Toronto....that was talked about this morning. Is that what the major announcement is/was?? It's cool and all, and good for the league, but doesn't really seem like THAT big a deal...
  16. Lol @ Jones with the brass ones calling out Durant as "moderately successful"....c'mon....I have never been a Durant fan, but seriously....you're going to intentionally antagonize the one decent QB you've got???
  17. I think if, some 2 days after the game, you're still losing your mind over how it ended.......you need to dial it back about 10-20%. It happened, it's done, we've gotta move on or it's gonna eat you alive.
  18. Teammates say he regularly hit from 60 in practice (I know I know, practice...) and hit at least one from nearly 70. But again, we really need to move on from the whole thing...
  19. I know Terrence Edwards did...he was a HUGE fan of JE at the CIS level...
  20. 1st and 6th, as of now, it sounds like. Can't wait....
  21. The most important thing, I think, is everyone just needs to move on from it. They made the choice, it didn't work, so be it. Let's all move on and just start to focus on 2017...it's going to be a great off-season for the team with a lotta great things happening as we continue to build what should be a great team...
  22. I cant' stand this whole arguing over the kick (but I get that it's a messageboard and it's what we do...) Interesting note from Nichols that he was totally understanding of the kick: Jim Toth ✔ @JimTothSports @DTonSC @RGR_Classic Nichols added they saw him hit 60-yards throughout season in practice including one 66 yarder
  23. That is how I feel. I'm okay with the penalty because it puts the fear of God into em. They'll start getting the alligator arms in traffic.. Also, if ever there was a guy who deserved to take a hit like that, it's Manny Arceneaux, who's been imposing his physical will on DBs for years...
