it's POSSIBLE, but I really don't think he's a smart enough QB to figure it out. He's a run-first QB anyhow, so maybe that situation was the best one possible for him. With a quality OL, he could sit in the pocket and not do much of anything anyhow...

I couldn't love that more, and hopefully they do take a massive hit tomorrow...

they've been terrible for years....both Edm and BC QBs have been taking a beating seemingly forever.

I'm curious, now that Reilly is all but sold to BC, if Edm takes the big $$$ offer they'd planned for him and goes all in on BLM. Would be easier to move a couple hours north on the QE2 than all the way out to TO...

I think there's two things wrong here: 1) It's ridiculous to believe the number we have for him is arbitrary. 2) It's ridiculous to believe they'd let an all star NI OL walk for "a couple thousand dollars". Nothing about Kyle Walters FA history says any of what you're thinking is even remotely possible.

McDavid is a generational talent. Laine is, at best, a generational shot. But the shot is all he has, and without it, I'm not sure he's an NHL player...
