My biggest thing is, I really don't want to overpay for some perceived "name"......**** going all in on this Derel Walker dog-and-pony show and pay him 275k when he's an injury risk. I'd much rather pay less for someone like Matthews, or someone we haven't even thought of yet, that might be just as good of a fit in the big picture.

So Popp says they outbid the Stamps by as much as 500k over 4 years (for BLM) but he chose to stay home. What this tells me, is that Toronto was the other team and not the Riders... They were never a serious consideration for BLM.

2/5 of the leagues best OL, your all star starting safety 3 years in a row, your starting WIL backer, 2 starting half backs..... That's a lot.

Massive amount of turnover but thankfully Walters has built this thing to a point where we have the depth to withstand change.

17to85 and I were just talking about how Jones is such an MOS guy... Paid his dues on Teams and really earned a shot to play full time...

I'd be more than happy to bring in a guy like Chris Matthews....

Jennings and Davis in Ottawa is no better than Collaros/Bridge for the Riders, and might even be worse...

Love having Demski back...he was a guy that I would have been fine if we moved on from, but finding a way to get him back helps the ratio. Kick returns and so multi-dimensional on offense....he's a really useful guy at the right price, and hopefully they got him at the right price.

I have never believed Harris is better than Nichols, and Reilly and BLM are dependent on their situations. Our QB situation is more than fine...

It is hilarious that this thread even exists....

From Jeff Hamilton: Don't sleep on the potential for the #Bombers trying to ink receiver DeVier Posey. Word out of the east is he already has a good offer from Montreal, but not exactly an ideal landing spot. Good character guy, which makes him that much more appealing to Winnipeg.
